Welcome back, my dear! Today’s share is a review of the new and wonderful Weleda Stretch Mark Body Butter! Any long time reader of my blog will know what a huge fan of Weleda I am. So when I learned about a new stretch mark body butter coming into Weleda’s Mum line, I knew I had to try it. Weleda Stretch Mark Body Butter is especially for pregnant mums, and according to Weleda it “helps prevent and reduce the appearance of stretch marks”. It’s certified natural, vegan – and the non-greasy and fast-absorbing formula promises to improve skin’s elasticity. Time for a little announcement – I’m actually 32 weeks pregnant with our fourth child! So this stretch mark body butter came at a great time for me! I’ve been using it every day since it arrived in the post about 4 weeks ago. And I have to say – I…

Welcome back, lover of skincare! In today’s post we’ll be chatting about the new-in Weleda Skin Food range. It’s always exciting when Weleda releases a new product, but I was even more excited than usual to learn about these new additions to the iconic Skin Food range. Skin Food is often our first introduction to this wonderful natural skin care brand. The cult multi-tasking beauty balm is a legend amongst beauty editors, bloggers, and makeup artists, and is one of Weleda’s bestselling products. Over the years we’ve seen a few new additions to the line, such as Skin Food Light, to cater for different skin types and needs. You can read my review of Skin Food and other Weleda products here. Now, Weleda has added a few new items to their Skin Food range – and there are some brand new face care and body care items to try. But…

Welcome back, skin care lover! Today’s share is one dear to my heart, as I reveal my latest thoughts on Weleda mother & baby skin care. Weleda is the family skin care brand I recommend most frequently to parents. And for good reason – trustworthiness is at the core of this long standing brand. In fact, Weleda has been growing plants organically and creating natural health and wellbeing products for over 100 years. Only the finest ingredients are at the forefront of Weleda products, and the range is proudly NATRUE certified. I have so much fondness for Weleda, so without further ado, let’s take a look at some of my favourite Weleda mother and baby products. Weleda mother & baby Weleda Nipple Balm This is a balm that I simply can’t live without! First and foremost, it’s a nipple balm. And an amazing one at that – especially if you’re…

In this post read my Weleda Skin Food review. This cult beauty product has well-deserved iconic status amongst beauty editors, bloggers, and makeup artists. Around the world, one tube of Skin Food sells every 23 seconds, making it Weleda’s bestselling natural beauty product. Disclosure: this post contains references to products I’ve chosen with my credits as a LoveLula Accredited Blogger. My views are honest and my own. Since 1926, Weleda Skin Food has brought relief and comfort to those with dry skin, and beautified celebrities such as Victoria Beckham, Julia Roberts, and Adele. I’ve been a huge Weleda fan since my early 20s, but it took me a while to try Skin Food. I’m so glad I did. Now, I always have a big tube in my bathroom. There’s a travel size tube in my nappy bag, and one in my car – I like to have some pretty much everywhere.…

Becoming an official Weleda Cleaner Beauty Ambassador was a really proud moment for me, since I’ve long sung the brand’s praises. As part of my role, I was delighted to be offered the chance to try Weleda Evening Primrose Age Revitalising Concentrate. Disclosure: PR gifted product. My views are honest and my own. The serum has been on my radar for some time. I love oil-free serums, especially in my nighttime skincare routine. It’s part of the Weleda Evening Primrose range for mature skin, based on Weleda’s ‘Lead Plant Philosophy’- a range of super-nutritional regimes to support skin at different life stages. Weleda describe the serum as a highly-effective skin-firming treatment to revitalise mature skin. Weleda note that as we age, our skin loses its elasticity and bounce. The serum aims to counteract this by energising cell renewal, strengthening the skin, and boosting its radiance. This fragrant serum is perfect for…

Weleda Pomegranate Deodorant is a wonderfully refreshing and effective natural deodorant that is free from aluminium salts and won’t clog pores. I love it so much that it’s appeared twice in my empties posts in the last year! Disclosure: I chose Weleda Pomegranate Deodorant with my credits as a LoveLula Accredited Blogger. My views are honest and my own. My favourite natural deodorant is Elsa’s Organics Deodorant, but this is my very close second favourite. I love it for different reasons – it has qualities that Elsa’s doesn’t. Even though Elsa’s is effective, I can’t wear it after shaving, as it irritates my skin. This is where Weleda Pomegranate Deodorant really shines – I can wear it right after shaving without any discomfort at all. As well as being no-stain, easy to apply, and fast to dry, it smells absolutely gorgeous. Perfect for autumn and winter. Weleda describes the fragrance as…

In this post, I review Weleda Gentle Cleansing Foam. I’m a big fan of cleansing foams. If I’ve been wearing makeup or SPF, I use a cleansing foam as the second step in a double cleanse. I also use a cleansing foam in my morning shower to refresh my skin. As a huge Weleda fan, my excitement when they released this cleansing foam was very real! I immediately bought some from my Weleda Wellbeing Advisor. My bottle is all used up now, so I gave it a thorough testing over several months. Ideal for normal and combination skin, and suitable for vegans, Weleda promises a gentle, non-drying deep cleanse that refreshes the skin while harnessing valuable plant extracts. The aim is to gently remove daily dirt, excess oil, and make-up in the kindest, most effective way. Key botanicals include organic witch hazel and marshmallow along with a sprightly blend of essential…

In this post, I’m reviewing the beautiful Weleda Nipple Balm. Weleda is my absolute favourite natural skincare brand. As a family, we use so many of their gorgeous natural beauty and baby care products. I was totally delighted to discover that the latest Weleda product is a nipple balm. Weleda is so supportive of the mother and baby journey, it’s really lovely. There’s a range of calendula bathing products, nursing oil, and tummy oil – and now this nipple balm helps to complete the range. Why do I need to use nipple balm? My baby is almost 16 months old – but recently my nipples have been damaged by Jonah’s teeth. He’s cutting four molars and four canines all at the same time. Biting isn’t really the problem, although he has clamped down on my nipple a couple of times. It’s the digging in of his teeth when he’s nursing…

In this review, Jonah tries out Weleda Baby Calendula Calming Bath to help heal his nappy rash and relax him ready for a good night’s sleep. Not to be confused with Weleda Calendula Cream Bath. Backstory: after being nappy rash free for fifteen months, Jonah has had quite bad nappy rash these last few days. The problem lies with teething. His nappies have become very runny, and he’s going frequently. A couple of times this week Jonah sat in a dirty nappy, because I hadn’t immediately noticed he’d gone. So I’ve been looking for ways to help Jonah’s skin heal and recover. We’ve forgone our usual natural bubble bath and opted for something milder and with active benefits – Weleda Baby Calendula Calming Bath. We’re big fans of Weleda Calendula baby products. We use the nappy cream and the body wash and shampoo, and we love them both, so I have high…

In this post, I review Weleda Nursing Oil. I’ve been breastfeeding Jonah for 14 months now. It’s so cosy and convenient and we love it, but it hasn’t always been easy. We struggled to get him latched on in the first few days and we were advised in hospital to use nipple shields. The shields worked really well and we were able to feed. Yet Jonah lost over 10% of his body weight within the first week. He was very fussy right after feeds, and he cried a lot in the night. Worried and doubting, we supplemented with two 4oz bottles of formula a day to help him gain weight quickly, and satisfy his hunger. And gain weight he did! This allowed us to be discharged from hospital as his weight gain was ample. Did he seem any more satisfied? Not really. In hindsight, I believe Jonah’s fussiness was normal…
