Lavera Colour and Shine Shampoo review

Lavera Colour and Shine Shampoo

Earlier this year, I got balayage into my hair, so was in need of a shampoo that would support my new colouring. I always go for shampoo without SLS, silicones, and unhealthy preservatives. This time, I chose Lavera Colour and Shine Shampoo, since it supports colour-treated hair with a whole bunch of lovely ingredients.

Of course, the best way to protect hair and its colour is to keep it covered up. Not possible most of the time, I hear you say. That’s where products come in.

Moisturising is the best way to keep the colour in your hair. That means using a really good shampoo and conditioner specially made with colour-treated hair in mind. You can always try washing your hair less frequently, if you can stand it.

Try some of these tips for keeping the colour in your hair. There’s some great advice in there that applies to us natural girls and guys as well, like avoiding harsh sulfates in shampoos.

So, on to the shampoo! If you’ve never heard of Lavera before, you should check them out! This German brand offers value for money certified organic skincare, haircare, and natural beauty products.

This shampoo smells so good! And I absolutely love a shampoo that smells good. It really invigorates me in the morning. This one is fruity and zesty.

It looks as you’d expect a moisturising shampoo to look – pearly and creamy. It actually looks like it’ll moisturise well.

Should I buy Lavera Colour and Shine Shampoo?

This shampoo has been cleverly formulated with colour-treated hair in mind, and boasts an amazing selection of beneficial natural ingredients.

It kept my hair nice and soft, yet cleaned well without causing greasiness. I could go every other day between washes, because frankly which toddler mama has time to wash her hair everyday?

Can I also add this shampoo is amazing value for money?

My colour stayed true for some time. However, being the fickle mama I am, I’m now growing my colouring out and won’t be getting it coloured again for a while (I have phases, coloured, not, short, long, you know how it is).

If you have colour-treated hair and would like to maintain its colour for longer, this shampoo is a great product.
