Goodness, how has a whole month passed since my last skincare empties post? What with Valentine’s Day just gone, and Mother’s Day fast approaching, it’s been a very busy month for me and my blog. I hope you’ll enjoy reading my February 2018 skincare empties!

I’ve gone through fewer products this month than last month. I’ve been focusing on using Jonah’s bath products in my shower, since his body wash tubes have been open since January last year, and aren’t smelling as perfect as they should.

I also have some lovely new natural toddler sleep products to try for Jonah, so please do subscribe to my blog or follow me to keep up to date.

So, let’s go through my February 2018 skincare empties.

Full size natural skincare products

Odylique Gentle Herb Shampoo

I do like Odylique Gentle Herb Shampoo, and I appreciate what is good about it. As well as being super gentle and containing hair and scalp loving ingredients, it cleans well and doesn’t leave me with greasy hair by 6pm. But I just find it takes too long to wash my hair with it. And I prefer a scent in my shampoo.

Odylique Gentle Herb Shampoo

I’m still looking for my perfect shampoo. I’ve yet to find one that doesn’t weigh down my fine hair, keeps the dry ends of my hair soft, and doesn’t leave me with a greasy fringe.

Martina Gebhardt Propolis Cream

This rich propolis cream is amazing on both my face and hands. I use it as a balm to top up my everyday moisturiser since it’s too rich to use all over my combination skin.

Martina Gebhardt Propolis Cream

It contains some seriously impressive ingredients such as propolis, silver, gold, carrot seed oil, horsetail, and sea buckthorn. If you love a rich pampering cream for winter, you should check this one out.

Weleda Pomegranate Deodorant

I love this fruity natural pomegranate deodorant from Weleda. My review for it is sat in my drafts waiting to be finished. It works very well and smells great. It’s easy to apply, which is a must for me. No aluminium, either.

Weleda Pomegranate Deodorant

With skin-loving pomegranate, liquorice, and witch hazel, it does not block pores, and respects skin’s natural functions.

Spacemask

This self-warming eye mask infused with jasmine came in a Skin Organics Beauty Sleep Box. I really enjoyed using it.

Spacemask - interstellar relaxation

Along with the other products in the beauty sleep box, Spacemask helped me to get a more restful night’s sleep.

Weleda Arnica Shower Gel

I bought this blind in a lucky dip selection box from Weleda Wellbeing Advisor Megan Edwards. It has a strong but pleasant herbal fragrance, and contains beautiful arnica to help soothe muscles.

The Christer Collection Relaxation Room Spray

My mother in law gifted me a set of goodies from this brand. This spray is part room fragrance, part aromatherapy product. Designed to relax and bring a sense of calm with a few sprays into the air.

HiPP Head to Toe Baby Wash

This was gifted by a friend, and since it contains artificial fragrance, I didn’t feel comfortable using it on Jonah. So, not wanting to waste it, my husband and I used it as a hand wash.

I couldn’t wait to finish it, to be honest. I prefer natural fragrances, and found it a little drying.

Naissance Roman Chamomile Essential Oil

Along with lavender, chamomile is a staple essential oil in our house. We add it to relaxing and soothing vapouriser blends, and to Jonah’s bath to help him sleep.

Green People Beauty Boost Skin Restore

I took this with me to a spa visit, since I figured the moisturisers provided might have ingredients I’d be unhappy using. I love this beauty balm! As with all Green People moisturisers, it left my skin silky soft, plumped, and well cared for.

Weleda Beauty Balm in Nude

I was so excited for this new tinted moisturiser from Weleda. It’s a beautiful product that I’ll be buying in summer, since I think it’s a shade too dark for my winter skin.

John Masters Organics Hair Mask

I love the samples section at LoveLula, where you can try out samples of products before committing. This John Masters Organics hair mask is amazing! It’s a real treat, and left my hair feeling thicker and softer.

John Masters Organics Linden Blossom Face Creme Cleanser

I’m on the lookout for a cleanser as good as Green People Gentle Cleanse and Makeup Remover, and I have to say this one from John Masters Organics is close. It cleanses effortlessly, smells beautiful, doesn’t sting, and contains some gorgeous ingredients such as aloe and rose water.

Linden Blossom Creme Cleanser has since been discontinued but you can try John Masters Organics Cleansing Balm instead – it’s gorgeous!

Kimberly Sayer Gentle Face Cleanser

Comparing this with the cleanser above, I prefer the John Masters cleanser out of the two. This one seemed a little more waxy.

  1. So many great products! My skin gets so dry in the winter, so I need super moisturizing products. I’m also looking for a deodorant without aluminum, so I can’t wait to try that Weleda one. And that Space mask sounds awesome!

    • Thank you, Shann! Mine does too, so I love some rich creams over winter. The Weleda deo is great! The Spacemask is so unique, I love it!

  2. I love checking out different products. One of my favorites is Kiss Freely. I need gluten free products, which are pretty hard to find, unfortunately.

    • Thank you, Anna! The Odylique shampoo is very nice and worth a try to see if it suits. Of course the Weleda deo is fab, I can’t get enough Weleda! Thanks for reading 🙂
