Green People Scent Free Sun Lotion SPF 30

I think it’s safe to say Green People make some of the most loved and trusted natural sunscreens. We took this on holiday with us in May and it worked well for my whole family.

Green People Scent Free Sun Lotion SPF 30

It’s served us very well over early summer and through this heatwave. It’s quite thick and white, and takes a bit of rubbing in. It doesn’t take long to sink in though, and I don’t find it leaves me too white.

Seven Minerals Organic Aloe Vera Spray

We’ve been using this lovely aloe gel on skin that’s had too much exposure to the sun. It’s perfectly refreshing and contains no cheap fillers. It’s a userful sunburn treatment that’s perfect for your family’s first aid kit.

Seven Minerals Organic Aloe Vera Spray

I’ve also been using it to make my own DIY breastmilk body lotion, which is absolutely amazing! I’ll be sharing the recipe and how-to on my blog soon.

Organii After Sun Cream

I really love Organii sun care products, and their after sun is one I’d use again. It contains soothing aloe and calendula and has a gorgeous delicate vanilla scent.

Weleda Men Active Shower Gel

My mum gifted this to my husband over Christmas. He really doesn’t like to use shower gel – he is extremely low maintenance (unlike me, of course). Naturally I used this myself, and I really liked it. It’s almost like breathing in the scent of a meadow, it’s very herbal, and contains rosemary oil, may chang, and vetiver.

Weleda Wild Rose Body Oil

Another oil from the Weleda Three Drawer Gift Set that was kindly sent to me by Weleda. Rose products are so pampering aren’t they? I loved using this one.

Weleda Gift Box

Weleda Wild Rose Body Oil contains organic wild rose oil along with sweet almond and organic jojoba oils to smooth and firm the skin.

Another sample from the July LoveLula box, this one is an impressive day or night lotion with plenty of skincare benefits.

D'Alchemy Age-Cancellation Booster Sample

It smells really gorgeous. It’s definitely on my radar to try full-size of this – I’m intrigued! Read my full review of D’Alchemy skincare.

Monat Black Shampoo + Conditioner

Monat has appeared in a couple of my empties posts now, as I received a nice little bundle of samples to try. This is a fantastic product, you wouldn’t know you’d used a 2-in-1. My hair felt a little drier than if I’d used a conditioner like normal, but to save time, who’d mind?

Monat Black Shampoo + Conditioner

When my husband saw me after using this product, he said “have you changed your hair again” – I took it as a compliment!

This 2-in-1 smells like mint chocolate and has a refreshing tingle to it, so all-in-all a very nice experience. There is a downside, however, which would stop me buying it. It contains silicones which I don’t use due to their effects on the environment.

John Masters Rosemary & Arnica Body Wash

Another sample from this month’s LoveLula box, John Masters Organics has created this really nice body wash with some lovely healing ingredients – pretty much a perfect summer body wash.

John Masters Organics Rosemary & Arnica Body Wash Sample

It contains rosemary and arnica which boost healing of the skin, based in a non-drying gel. You can get a sample for 50p on LoveLula before committing to a full-size bottle. Definitely one to try!

Apple & Bears Bergamot & Green Tea Luxury Body Wash

A travel-size bottle of body wash from the July LoveLula box. This one cleanses, refreshes, and contains some skin-loving ingredients like bergamot and green tea. However it does contain artificial fragrance, which is less than ideal.

Apple & Bears Mini Bergamot & Green Tea Luxury Body Wash

This mini bottle costs £5 and would be ideal to take on holiday.

The Organic Pharmacy Rose Diamond Exfoliating Cleanser

I received this free sample in my first order from The Organic Pharmacy. I wasn’t sure if it was a cleanser or an exfoliator, so I removed my makeup first then used it as the second stage of a double cleanse.

It starts off looking like a milky cleanser, and I was surprised it doesn’t contain any scrub particles. Once applied you massage it in for 30 seconds, and during this time it becomes more of a thick waxy balm. My skin felt so smoothed after using it – remarkable! It was also more radiant. Although it is expensive I feel it’s worth it, so I’m considering making a cheeky purchase. And yes, it does contain real diamond!

RMS Beauty Uncover Up in 00

Did you know you can get samples of RMS Beauty Uncover Up from Flourish Beauty, and they cost just £1.50? This site has an amazing sample service and is well worth checking out. I’m going to invest in the full-size product – it certainly does live up to its cult status.

Green People Age Defy 24 Hour Brightening Solution

A free sample from BigGreenSmile. I really like Green People Moisturisers, and this one aims to reduce pigmentation, increase hydration, and improve cell metabolism. I can’t say whether or not it helped to do that from just a few uses, but it worked well as a day moisturiser, and I was happy with my skin after using it.

Weleda Citrus Deodorant

It’s actually cheaper to buy full-size of this now rather than the travel-size. A lovely refreshing deodorant for summer. People often comment I smell good when I wear this, which is always nice!

  1. I love all things rose hip so will definitely have to check that out. Though, I have not tried any of the products in your post so have a lot to browse through and try 🙂

  2. Looks like you found some great ones!

    1. I certainly did! Thanks for reading!

  3. I MUST try that rose water! Sounds fantastic!

    1. It’s one of the best I’ve tried, it’s so refreshing!

  4. Such a great list. I definitely need to try a face balm. My face has been so dry in this Florida heat.

    1. Just a small amount makes so much difference. It’s really hot here in the UK too, and I’m using face oils and balms daily.

  5. Rose water spray is one of my favorites as well! I’ve been making my own with a concentrate and aloe and it’s so perfect to quickly refresh and hydrate after being in the sun!

    1. Oh that sounds perfect! I’d love to make my own.

D’Alchemy Age-Cancellation Booster sounds really interesting and I think it’s perfect for my skin but I think I will wait a little bit before I give it a try as I don’t think my skin needs it just yet (I think I need some more wrinkles!).

    1. I agree with you, you have beautiful young skin! As I get older, it’s not the wrinkles that I mind, it’s where skin sags a bit! 🙂 But honestly it’s not as “bad” as I thought it would be when I was in my twenties… at 40 years looming!
