Advert: I received this LoveLula Beauty Box to review by LoveLula. My views are honest and my own.

Alteya Organics Chamomile Water

This is my favourite item in the box. I love a good flower water, and chamomile is such a wonderful herb for adults and children alike. Alteya Organics describe the water as therapeutic grade, refreshing and toning, uplifting and energising.

Alteya Organics Chamomile Water

I’ve used it in several ways already – to replace the toner in my evening routine, to soothe my toddler’s skin after sun exposure, and on my baby’s cradle cap and to clean her nappy area. We really love it!

Gallinée Probiotic Body Milk

What a lovely body lotion to smooth rough winter skin and take us through spring and into summer. Gallinée is a French brand that creates interesting “good bacteria” skincare. I love that this moisturiser helps support these good bacteria for nourished, hydrated, and soft skin.

Gallinée Probiotic Body Milk

I do like this moisturiser – it sinks in quickly and keeps my skin soft. Continued use will reveal the benefits of the “good bacteria” element. On the downside, I’m not a huge fan of the fragrance, which I think is artificial.

Dr Botanicals Lemon Superfood Rescue Butter

This appears to be such a gorgeous product! Dry and dull skin is rejuvenated with vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants from lemongrass, coconut, almond, and sea buckthorn. It helps ease skin blemishes and rough skin for a brighter and smoother complexion with a healthy glow.

Dr Botanicals Lemon Superfood Rescue Butter

I’ve previously loved Dr Botanicals products such as their coffee scrub and kale moisturiser, but I was disappointed to learn that this butter contains phenoxyethanol, which I absolutely do not use while I’m breastfeeding. So I was a little disappointed as this looks perfect in every other way!

Glossworks Nail Polish in Raspberry Parade

Wow, what a gorgeous bright pink creme colour for spring nails! Glossworks nail polish range is professionally formulated and offers numerous high coverage shades. They’re 9-free, with no formaldehyde or toluene. With a gel-like texture, this polish promises a glossy finish that does not fade.

However this is another product I personally won’t be using as it contains benzophenone-1, which I don’t like to use while breastfeeding. Again, I’m being super cautious – I really love how clean this nail polish is otherwise.

Kimberly Sayer sample duo

There are 2 Kimberly Sayer samples in the April box. I absolutely love Kimberly Sayer skincare and sun care! Here we have the Gentle Face Cleanser and Restore Anti-Aging Cream.

Kimberly Sayer sample duo

I love both of them. The cleanser is deceptively light and very good at removing a full face of makeup without drying out the skin. The moisturiser is rich yet light and leaves a nice dewy finish. Both have the refreshing and soothing fragrance of lavender.

Final thoughts on LoveLula April 2019 Beauty Box

My LoveLula box is such a treat, and while this is a wonderful box for most, there a few picks here I won’t use because I’m breastfeeding and very cautious about particular ingredients.

The LoveLula Beauty Box is excellent vale for money. Subscribers to the box can take a cracking 25% off the brands featured!
