In this post I share my May 2019 natural beauty empties. Weleda feature in most of my empties posts – they’re one of my favourite natural beauty brands.

This month my favourite empty is their wonderful Age Revitalising Concentrate – it’s such a star product!

Also from Weleda is their Skin Food Light, and creamy body washes. Other empties include bubble bath from Sophie the Giraffe, natural deodorant from Elsa’s, Odylique face moisturiser, tinted lip balm from Burt’s Bees, and a handful of samples.

Enjoy my empties!

Weleda Evening Primrose Age Revitalising Concentrate

This is a lovely lightweight serum to use under moisturiser as an anti-aging treatment. Evening primrose in the serum helps stimulate skin’s natural protective and regenerative abilities – perfect as I head towards 40!

Weleda Evening Primrose Age Revitalising Concentrate

I’m quite sure Weleda Age Revitalising Concentrate makes a difference to my skin – hydrating and plumping out wrinkles.

Weleda Skin Food Light

Skin Food light is a relatively new addition to the Skin Food family. I was so excited to try this as soon as it became available.

And I’m impressed with how well it works – it hydrates nicely and the results last some time, yet it sinks in quickly.

Sophie the Giraffe Bubble Bath

My son really enjoyed using this mild but bubbly bubble bath from the Sophie the Giraffe skincare range.

Sophie the Giraffe Bubble Bath

Its Ecocert certified organic and contains lovely ingredients like white tea and lavender.

Elsa’s Deodorant Sensitive

This is my favourite Elsa’s Deodorant. As the name suggests, it’s the gentlest of their deodorants.

Elsa's Deodorant Sensitive

With lovely green tea and aloe, I can use it straight after shaving, which is so convenient.

Odylique Timeless Rose Moisturiser

This is such a lovely moisturiser from Odylique, so it’s a real shame it turned sour in my travel bag!

Odylique Timeless Rose Moisturiser

Definitely a moisturiser I’d use again – Odylique is one of my favourite natural beauty brands.

Weleda Body Wash in Lavender and Sensitive

I’m still working my way through a few of these creamy body washes that are about to pass their use-by date.

They clean well while keeping my skin soft and comfortable. Their fragrance is amazing, too.

Burt’s Bees Tinted Lip Balm in Zinnia

Oh, how I do love this tinted lip balm from Burt’s Bees. It’s one of a handful of products I buy over and over, but alas no more.

Burt's Bees Tinted Lip Balm in Zinnia

Since I learned that Burt’s Bees may test on animals, I refuse to buy the brand.

Samples

The most exciting of my samples was this beautiful Lena Wild Harmony Bloom Oil, which was a gift from Origins of Beauty. It’s everything I love in a facial oil!

I also really enjoyed Rahua Cream Wax, this really got on well with my fine unruly hair – definitely on my wish list!

May 2019 samples

I also used Alteya Organics Illuminating Perfecting Serum, which made a wonderful light moisturiser while we were staying away from home, Vestige Verdant Organic Peat Mask, and The Organic Pharmacy Rose Diamond Exfoliating Mask.

Final thoughts on May 2019 natural beauty empties

What a gorgeous month in skincare for me and my littles!

Next month it’s Jonah’s third birthday, so I’ll write him a letter that I’ll share here. I’m reviewing a very special baby shampoo from Enfance Paris. Cara started solids this month, so I’ll be sharing our first 2 weeks of baby led weaning, too – and trying some tasty food from Baby Led Food. If there’s time I’ll be posting what to expect at a toddler speech evaluation.

What skincare and beauty did you use up in May? Let me know in the comments. And don’t forget to subscribe to my blog to stay in touch.

Until next time!

Burt’s Bee’s is definitely always on my empties list. Such a great product!

    • Yes! It’s featured on mine too, but I’m not buying any more as I’m not sure of their cruelty-free status.

  2. I need to look more into the light skin food – I found the original too heavy and rich for me most times, but this sounds it could work. and I don’t think I knew Elsas had a sensitive one! just wish they did them in recyclable packaging (or their tins) though. lots of good empties it sounds x
