Welcome back beauty lovers! In this post I introduce my spring hair care picks. Spring is a great time to refresh your hair care look and products.

I’ve only just started to use these natural hair care products, so I’ll update you on how we got on in a later post or in my empties post.

Spring hair care picks

Tame the frizz with Rahua Cream Wax

Humidity in the spring air can play havoc with our hair, causing frizz and making it hard to manage. Spring is the right time to keep it in check with a cream wax.

Rahua Cream Wax

Just look at that beautiful texture of Rahua Cream Wax. I’m already in love with this amazing smelling cream wax that’s suitable for all hair types. It’s made using Amazonian rainforest ingredients along with green tea and rosemary leaf extracts, and palo santo oil.

This hair styling product is best described as a hair cream for pliable hold. It’s great for long or short hair, and appeals to all genders!

I use Rahua Cream Wax to tame frizz and flyaway strands and finish my blow dry. I also use it to give Jonah’s hair (my 3 year old) a little texture and hold.

I’ve yet to try it on wet hair, but I believe it will give a nice sleek finish. This smoothing hair cream is just as good as the temporary effects of silicones, but is a lot more nourishing.

Such a gorgeous luxury brand, I could try every single one of their products!

Rahua Cream Wax adds to my collection of Rahua reviews – see Rahua Voluminous Shampoo and Conditioner and Rahua Hairspray.

Refresh your spring look with My Haircare Infuse My Colour Copper Shampoo

Spring is the ideal time to head to the salon for a trim. It’s time to get rid of those dead ends! And if you don’t fancy a full head of colour, then why not try a colour shampoo for an easy spring refresh at home?

My Haircare Infuse My Colour Copper Shampoo

I bought this for my not-coloured hair, thinking I could use it to add copper to my hair. Ooops! Silly me – this shampoo is designed to maintain the brightness of copper, auburn copper brown, copper gold, and rose gold coloured hair. Like, literally coloured.

The thing is, it did have a slight effect on my natural hair! I saw a copper glow, but it wasn’t very noticeable.

Such was my curiosity about this shampoo, I actually got my hair coloured so I can test it. Well, I was long overdue a visit to the hairdresser! I took it as much needed pampering time!

As for my colour, I went from natural brunette to having half a head of bright copper highlights with touch ups of my grey. The effect is subtle and warm, I really like it.

I’m going to wait a few weeks until the fade sets in to try this shampoo out, and will report back in my empties roundup.

Treat a scaly scalp with Natura Siberica Anti Dandruff Shampoo

Spring is the ideal time to say goodbye to the dryness of a winter scalp. Using a natural anti dandruff shampoo is just the way to shake off any winter flakiness. I bought this for my husband. He was using my shampoo, but complained about the lack of suds. He likes the way this anti-dandruff cleans his hair and his dandruff has stayed away.

Natura Siberica Anti Dandruff Shampoo

We were both surprised to find the shampoo has no fragrance – especially since other Natura Siberica products are pretty fragrant.

What’s always appealed to me about this brand are the wild harvested herbs. The idea that these hardy northern herbs are full of ingredients that help them survive in extreme Siberian conditions. These extracts form the basis of the Nordic natural products.

And how nice are these ingredients? Antiseptic extract of oak moss and arctic wormwood to prevent dandruff and soften hair.

The price though – it’s amazing. Such a big bottle, too. Definitely take a look at the whole range!

    • That’s great to know! Some of the ingredients used in hair care products have a negative impact on the environment. It’s nice to know which products are safer.
