Welcome back, beauties! Today it’s time to share my current loves from a long-time favourite natural beauty brand. Hello, Lavera skincare!

Lavera is one of the first natural beauty brands I tried. I return to Lavera skincare again and again for certified organic products that are such great value for money!

One of my favourite things about Lavera is that all their beauty products are certified organic by NaTrue. Everything is 100% natural and organic, and nothing is tested on animals. You won’t find any parabens, SLS, phthalates, mineral oils, or petrochemicals in Lavera beauty!

The brand was founded by Thomas Haase in 1987. In founding Lavera, he discovered his lifelong dream of organic and natural beauty care for all.

To me, nature is the only true way to beauty care. For me, lavera stands for true, natural beauty care – pure nature – my concept for beautiful skin.

Thomas Haase

Plant ingredients, sustainability, and the health and beauty of our skin are Lavera’s priorities. It’s fascinating that Thomas Haase was involved with alternative skin care at a young age, since like many of us, standard cosmetic products on the market were unusable for him.

Thomas Haase is a man of my own heart, fascinated by plant ingredients and how they can help the skin. Of course, he believes that natural beauty care should rival synthetic cosmetics – shampoos to gently cleanse, cream that absorbs quickly to provide moisture while noticeably improving the condition of the skin.

Now, the Lavera natural beauty line is huge. Skincare such as cleansers and scrubs, shampoo, conditioner, dental care, and a wide selection of stunning and long lasting makeup.

I love and recommend so many Lavera products. So let’s have a look at my current faves.

Latest Lavera skincare loves

Lavera Regenerating Night Cream – Basis Sensitive

This rich pillowy night cream is becoming a firm favourite! Ideal for all skin types, it promises to intensively hydrate the skin while supporting its regeneration process during the night.

Lavera Anti-Ageing Night Cream Q10 - Basis Sensitive

It has a rich but light texture that absorbs easily to give soft skin, replenish moisture, and regenerate skin cells.

As for the ingredients, there’s organic jojoba oil to condition the skin, and organic almond oil to guard against moisture loss.

This cream comes in a lightweight plastic jar with screw lid. The cream is pale in colour and is lightly fragranced. I really like the fragrance, it’s light and dreamy and smells completely natural – not overwhelming at all.

I use a spatula to take a small amount of the cream and smooth it over my face before gently patting in.

This is the kind of night cream that brings complete comfort! It’s so soothing and soft, and it’s definitely working with my other PM routine products to increase my skin’s hydration. I love how nice it feels after using acid masks or toners.

Coming in at under £15, it’s amazing value for money for the results and organic ingredients.

Lavera Regenerating Night Cream is fast becoming a nighttime hero for me!

Lavera Basis Sensitive Cleansing Gel

I love to use gel cleansers either on their own in the morning or as part of a double cleanse, so I was excited to try this gel cleanser from Lavera. It’s touted as an everyday organic cleanser for normal and combination skin.

Lavera Basis Sensitive Cleansing Gel

Lavera promise that its gentle cleansing ingredients will effectively and gently remove dirt, make-up and excess oils – allowing skin to breathe. It also contains organic aloe vera and organic jojoba oil to keep up moisture levels in the skin.

It’s a very gentle gel cleanser – use it around the eye area to remove makeup, although I prefer an balm cleanser to shift all traces of eye makeup first.

Lavera Cleansing Gel comes in a soft plastic tube with a flip cap. The gel is clear and has a light natural fragrance. Use just a small amount for a lovely light lather that cleanses thoroughly with no tightness or dryness.

I really love this refreshing cleanser and I know the tube will last me a long time – it’s such great value for money and wonderfully effective!

These sound like such great products for moms especially because they’re natural!

  2. Have you tried their self tanning products ? I’m going to treat myself to the night cream as I am having problems with my usual one – L’Oreal – which I have been using for years but suddenly developed really itchy skin.

    • Hi Kate! Give it a try, it’s really nice! From what I’ve read, fragrance is the usual culprit with allergic/sensitivity reactions. I’ve never used their self-tanning products but I’ve used many others and been disappointed with none. Hope you’re all okay! xx

  3. I’ve never heard of Lavera but I love that it works well for sensitive skin. I’ll have to check it out!

    • Thank you Camille. Love their makeup! The lipstick and and mascara are excellent. Never tried any foundations though, it is on my wishlist!

  4. This is interesting! I’d love to try products that aren’t harsh on the skin because I have super sensitive skin. Thanks for sharing!
