Welcome back, my empties lover – and happy Halloween to you! It’s time for my October 2020 natural beauty empties. I love October because so many exciting things happen in nature – it is a time of shedding the old to make way for the new. My skincare too, changes with the season. I use a more deeply hydrating moisturiser, and pull out my cosiest of balms.

You will find this reflected in my empties. There’s a beautiful natural deodorant – my favourite yet in fact, a deeply hydrating night cream, nourishing moringa cleansing oil, SPF20 day cream, and more.

For little people, there’s fun throwable hand and face foam, and a sleepy time foot oil for bedtime relaxation.

Fall in love with my October empties!

Elsa’s Detox Natural Deodorant

Elsa’s Detox Deodorant is their latest offering, mine came in the LoveLula June Beauty Box. It’s my favourite empty this month, and one special deodorant! In fact, it’s my favourite natural deodorant to date. Why? It’s so effective! Like, job interview effective. It lasts all day, and it never irritates. It makes me feel confident and cared for!

As their most expensive deodorant, it’s a real treat for your underarms! And why not? It’s perfect for the whole family, from tweens to adults.

As for the formula, Elsa’s added activated charcoal and bentonite clay for a deodorant that doesn’t just deodorise, but detoxes and feeds your body with magnesium and other vitamins, minerals, and fatty acids. The fragrance of grapefruit, ginger, and neroli makes for a heavenly experience.

We finally created a formulation that is 100% effective, deodorises, leaves no stains, smells amazing and was gentle enough for children to use. While using no synthetics, toxic chemicals or animal by products.

And just as special as the deodorant, is the brand itself. Elsa’s was born from founder Henrietta’s need to protect her daughter from the harsh substances in conventional deodorants in a product that sits close to the lymph nodes, breasts, and heart.

I’m a complete Elsa’s fan girl and recommend them constantly. You have to try it yourself to believe it! Go and see elsas.co.uk or Elsa’s Instagram to learn more and view the range.

I’m not into very scrubby scrubs, and I would say this falls into that category. But I do love this Urban Veda polish when my skin is suffering with hormonal breakouts.

With pumice, cold-pressed neem, and spearmint, it scrubs well and the fragrance is so refreshing. It leaves my skin soft and smooth. Just be gentle with it!

Pukka Womankind Premenstrual

This isn’t my typical review but I wanted to add it in because I’ve found it so helpful! It’s a herbal supplement to ease PMS symptoms with shatavari, reishi, turmeric, and more.

In the 5 days run up to my period I was less depressed and irritable. We’ll have to see how I get on with longer use.

This came in the LoveLula September Beauty Box. It’s a lovely night cream that promises to boost elasticity with rosehip, evening primrose, jasmine, and borage.

Urban Veda Reviving Renewal Night Cream mini

Although aimed at ageing skin, it’s not as rich as my usual night cream. I think it would be great for younger, combination, or oily skins.

Last but not least, this gorgeous sample from Antipodes – one of their latest offerings. It came in the LoveLula October 2020 Beauty Box.

Antipodes Baptise H2O Ultra-Hydrating Water Gel sachet

This cream worked so well for me, but I don’t think I’d buy full size due to it containing sodium acrylates copolymer – a micro-plastic ingredient.
