Hello, dear friend! And welcome to my November 2020 natural beauty empties.

Advert: this post contains references to PR gifted products. My views are honest and my own. May contain affiliate links.

November has been a really busy month for me on my blog. It also feels like the month that we say goodbye to autumn, as the last of the leaves fall from the trees and the days really do get noticeably shorter. We prepare ourselves for winter! My skincare is the same, and you’ll find this in my November empties.

There’s a skin-saving repair lotion, beautiful smoothing bakuchiol serum, gentle shea moisturiser that works in any routine across all seasons, plus lots more. And for children there’s gentle baby hand sanitiser, vanilla body wash, and more.

Have fun with my November 2020 natural beauty empties!

Odylique Repair Lotion

One of my all time favourite moisturisers and my hero product this month. This beautifully scented, naturally golden moisturiser is recommended by homeopathic doctors to soothe distressed, dry, and itchy skin on the face or body.

Odylique Repair Lotion

It smells like summer in a bottle and I find the botanical mix of chickweed and chamomile really calms my skin down during eczema and psoriasis flareups. It’s also fabulous as a moisturiser although a bit expensive for everyday use.

It’s definitely a cream I’ll always keep in stock and I recommend it again and again!

Herbivore Bakuchiol Smoothing Serum

This beautiful serum makes a fantastic alternative to retinol that’s safer for pregnant ladies or breastfeeding mums. I really loved the mix of bakuchiol and gentle exfoliating PHA in this lilac jelly-like serum.

Herbivore Bakuchiol Smoothing Serum

Unfortunately it’s no longer in stock anywhere, I’m not sure why. At the moment I’m using BYBI Bakuchiol Booster instead, but the two are very different.

PHB Gentle Moisturiser

This scent free moisturiser is so kind and gentle. With apricot and shea it’s a really lovely moisturiser to use when you just need something basic.

PHB Gentle Moisturiser

It leaves a lovely non-shiny finish, and I like the easy to use pump bottle. Definitely a repurchase once I’ve used others in my collection!

Pretty Special Beauty Hand Sanitiser

I was so grateful to be kindly sent this hand sanitiser to try. Who doesn’t need a huge collection of hand sanitiser right now?

Pretty Special Beauty Hand Sanitiser

It contains glycerine to keep hands soft while nuking germs and is beautifully scented with may chang and bergamot. My hands feel ever so clean without being stripped. Love this one!

Lowen’s Creamsicle Lip Balm

I tried this Canadian lip balm when I judged in the CertClean Clean Beauty Awards last December. It has such a wonderful flavour – orange and vanilla with a tingly menthol kick. It became my designated “car lip balm” since the formula stands up well to changes in temperature.

Lowen's Creamsicle Lip Balm

I follow Lowen’s on Instagram, they really are worth a follow for the banter, even if you can’t get your hands on this yummy lip balm in the UK just yet.

Weleda Skin Food Light

There’s not much I can say about the fabulous Weleda Skin Food Light that you probably don’t already know.

Weleda Skin Food Light

Skin Food is so well known as a hard-working, multitasking treat for skin anywhere. And its little sibling Skin Food Light is a just-as-handy but lighter formulation that sinks in faster for speedy nourishment.

Weleda Stretch Mark Massage Oil

This was an essential purchase when I expecting Cara. I listed it in my pregnancy essentials.

Weleda Stretch Mark Massage Oil

I picked it up at the Weleda store in Derbyshire during their blogger event – I had such a lovely day and it stays in my memory as such a happy time! Highly recommend the oil to keep skin soft and comfortable during pregnancy. It smells amazing too, with neroli and rose.

Dianne Caine Australia Lip Restore

Another lip balm in the CertClean Clean Beauty Awards. This Australian lip balm is really nourishing, with jojoba oil, vitamins, and 7-mineral complex, and I like the handy squeezable tube.

Dianne Caine Australia Lip Restore

Again, I don’t think it’s available in the UK but the Dianne Caine store is well worth a browse for natural goodies.

Urban Veda Daily Soothing Facial Wash

Urban Veda is an interesting line of Ayurvedic skincare for all skin conditions. I tried out the Soothing range last year and I’m still working my way through these exotically fragranced skincare basics.

Urban Veda Daily Soothing Facial Wash

With alcohol quite high up the ingredients list, I found this a little drying for the skin on my face – but it made a fabulous shower gel!

Urban Veda Soothing Clarifying Night Cream

This is a really lovely night cream from the same range. It’s great value for money and smells glorious.

I found it not quite rich enough for my PM routine, so I used it with a hyaluronic serum first, and followed with a rich facial oil for a fragrant treat.

Bentley Organic Hand Sanitizer

We’ve been using this gentle hand sanitiser since my youngest was a tiny baby. I use it on all of us. It’s non-alcohol so gentler on very little ones skin.

Bentley Organic Hand Sanitizer

Definitely one to try for the youngest members of your family if you’d rather not use alcohol based sanitisers (as recommended by the government during these covid times). Personally, I’m happy to use either for the children but use alcohol based hand sanitisers for myself and my husband.

Weleda Kids Shampoo & Body Wash Very Vanilla

This is a really lovely all-in-one bath time product that we used on both our children. It’s so gentle, cleans well, and leaves a delicious vanilla fragrance in their hair.

Weleda Kids Shampoo & Body Wash Very Vanilla

As if they weren’t good enough to eat already!

Wild & Stone Baby Toothbrushes

These bamboo toothbrushes have a biodegradable wooden handle, are super soft, and very cute! We chose them for Cara since she chews everything she can get her hands on, and we don’t want to throw lots of plastic into landfill.

Wild & Stone Baby Toothbrushes

I think they’re a tad too soft for Cara, who is now 2, but they also make older children’s toothbrushes, so I think we’ll pick some of those up soon.

Arcana Sulis Mineral Replenish Mist & Viritida Ritual Cleansing Balm trial sizes

I recently fell in love with this bewitching brand over on Instagram. And I couldn’t resist buying Scintilla, their discovery set which includes all but one of their products. There’s something quite unique about this skincare. It’s very connected with nature and the earth, which I completely love.

Arcana Sulis Mineral Replenish Mist & Viritida Ritual Cleansing Balm trial sizes

I used up their Viritida Ritual Cleansing Balm – a wonderfully effective verdant balm-to-milk cleanser that removes makeup while stimulating the senses with clary sage, rose geranium, and green tea.

I also really enjoyed Sulis Mineral Replenish Mist, which has the texture of a mist with the potency of a serum and is interestingly formulated with fermented minerals, amino acids, gold, copper, and pearl.

So far, it’s been a beautifully connected experience and I’m still trialling their facial oils and face mask, also enjoyable. I’ll probably make a full size purchase of my favourite Arcana product and share it. Definitely recommend Scintilla as a taster to this brand from the plant realm!

Butterwhips Dreamy Weamy Balm trial size

Ahhh, lovely Butterwhips! My whole family loves this gorgeous whipped baby butter with shea and calming lavender.

Butterwhips Dreamy Weamy Balm trial size

It’s soothing, calming, and smells absolutely beautiful. I love the texture of Butterwhips products and highly recommend this one to protect young skin.

Balm Balm Bergamot Single Note Perfume trial size

Balm Balm sell a gorgeous discovery set which contains all of their wonderful single note fragrances.

Balm Balm Bergamot Single Note Perfume trial size

Definitely one to check out if you like simple fragrances you can layer together. They also make a great fragrance to try during pregnancy. As you can see, bergamot was clearly my favourite!

  1. Wow, you did amazing! You’ve finished so many things. I always cut the tubes too. I hate to waste

  2. Wow, sounds like you got to try a lot of great products! A couple of those moisturizers caught my eye. I, like many people, have terrible dry, itchy skin in the winter.

  3. I am very much a minimalist when it comes to using skincare products. These sound like some interesting products. The lip balm sounds like something I would use and of course, hand sanitizer these days! My skin is sensitive and dry so the non alcohol would be good for me!

  4. I used something similar to the massage oil for stretch marks in my pregnancies, it had rose oil in it too just like the one you have here. I didn’t get stretch marks anywhere I put it! I did get some in some places I didn’t know I was supposed to put the oil though, lol.

  5. I love the Pretty Special Beauty hand sanitiser. It’s far better than gloopy, messy gels and doesn’t dry my hands out.

Great blog post & photos as always.

    • Thanks for your kind words, Charlotte! I completely agree. Love the scent of Pretty Special Beauty Hand Sanitiser.

You found so many things to try! I also cut my tubes to get the most out of whats left behind. I keep it simple when it comes to skin care but this most made me want to try out more things.
