Hello my dear empties lover, and welcome to my April 2021 natural beauty empties.

Advert: this post contains references to PR gifted products. My views are honest and my own. May contain affiliate links.

This month I have a very special empties post for you – because it’s in collaboration with a green beauty blogger who I’m very fond of – it’s Renata of Green Life in Dublin!

Renata is a fellow LoveLula Accredited Blogger. Along with being a sterling blogger, she’s also been so supportive of me throughout my time as a blogger.

She was kind enough to nominate me to judge in the Clean Beauty Awards 2020, which I really enjoyed and found very rewarding. And she’s always looking out for other bloggers. She’s a real champion!

Go and check out Renata’s empties for April now. And you can also see her beautiful face and hear her soothing voice over on her YouTube channel, where she talks all things green beauty and health.

What does it mean to collaborate with another blogger on a post? Well, of course I’ve just shared Renata’s empties with you. But, there’s more!

Something I love about Renata’s empties posts is how she gives the total value of all her empties. So we’ll review my empties in the spirit of Green Life in Dublin, and I’ll share the total value of my empties at the end of the post.

Just for fun, but you’ll have to read Renata’s empties to see who emptied the most!

So, let’s look at the empties. This month I’m sharing a soothing chamomile water, 7-ingredient makeup dissolving cleansing oil, the most gorgeous hand sanitiser – and more.

Enjoy my April 2021 natural beauty empties!

April 2021 natural beauty empties

Typology Chamomile Hydrolate

A beautiful chamomile floral water that’s easily my favourite empty this month. Using it is like sitting in a beautiful French meadow surrounded by chamomile flowers!

Typology Chamomile Hydrolate

It’s so soothing and works great to relieve any minor irritations or skin niggles. Typology Chamomile Hydrolate is easily one of the nicest chamomile waters I’ve used!

Typology Cleansing Oil with 7 Ingredients

Can you tell Typology skincare products are among my favourites? This fragrance free cleansing oil is no exception! It removes makeup and deeply cleanses, yet transforms into an easy to remove milk on contact with water.

Typology Cleansing Oil with 7 Ingredients

With just 7 ingredients, I love how effective yet gentle Typology Cleansing Oil is. I know I’ll be turning to it again in the future.

Purdy & Figg Wild Woody Hand Sanitiser

Purdy & Figg take hand sanitising to another level! This hand sanitiser turns the mundane act of sanitising one’s hands into something a bit more special.

Purdy & Figg Wild Woody Hand Sanitiser

With vetiver, juniper, and coriander seed it smells absolutely glorious! And the clever formulation means my hands are kept clean yet soft.

Holland & Barrett CBD Serum

This is such a gorgeous everyday serum for a moisture boost without upsetting skin’s oil balance.

Holland & Barrett CBD Serum

Holland & Barrett CBD Serum has a light and refreshing fragrance. It’s a real breeze to use daily to keep skin hydrated and treat minor irritations, thanks to its CBD content. Read my full review of Holland & Barrett CBD Skincare.

Benecos Winter Dream Body Lotion

Vanilla body lotion any time of year? Yes please! This one came as part of the Benecos Winter Dream Gift Set that is no longer available on LoveLula and seems to be discontinued, but you can get it from greenerbeauty.com.

Benecos Winter Dream Body Lotion

It has some really nice ingredients such as nettle, rosehip, and St. John’s wort. Offering amazing value for money, I’d be happy to part with £5.95 to buy another Benecos Body Lotion, given the quality!

Mádara FEED Repair & Dry Rescue Hair Mask

A really lovely once a week deep conditioning treatment, Mádara FEED Hair Mask contains beneficial fungus and an oil blend including avocado and evening primrose. It promises to nurture, reduce damage, and preserve colour for silky and shiny hair.

Mádara FEED Repair & Dry Rescue Hair Mask

It certainly helped prevent too much damage to my coloured hair through the lockdown. I’m not sure it made much more difference than using a hair oil, but it smells and feels good, and gives pleasing results.

Hurraw Lime Lip Balm

My whole family loves Hurraw Lip Balm! The unique oval shape and tasty flavour make it a real hit.

Hurraw Lime Lip Balm

It’s a fantastic lip balm for all seasons. I’ll definitely be buying another in the future – I discussed it in more detail in my review of the LoveLula March 2019 Beauty Box.

Lavera Colour & Care Radiant Colour Shampoo

What a lovely gift this was from the lovely Sandra who blogs over at Beauty Balm. I’ve tried and liked Lavera Colour & Care Shampoo before, but since then it’s had a revamp.

Lavera Colour & Care Radiant Colour Shampoo

And while it’s not my favourite shampoo, it still remains a great value for money product with some helpful ingredients to protect coloured hair, such as pomegranate and quinoa.

Arcana Skin Second Sight Metamorphic Eye Serum sample

The last sample from my beloved Arcana Skin Discovery Set. I really enjoyed this mini rollerball for the eye area. It’s soothing and moisturising, and contains some interesting ingredients to work on this delicate area. One such ingredient is electric daisy, known as a nature’s botox.

Arcana Skin Second Sight Metamorphic Eye Serum

This eye serum is definitely one I’d love to explore more. For the purposes of calculating the value, it’s the cost of the discovery set divided by 6 – £4.17.

Weleda Salt Toothpaste sample

An interesting toothpaste – but not completely to my taste. It does indeed taste salty. And the salt is said to stimulate saliva to keep the mouth clean. It feels a little gritty to me, and I’m not overly keen.

Weleda Salt Toothpaste

Quite a lot of this non foaming toothpaste is needed to get a clean feeling. However, I do like the gum soothing natural extracts of ratanhia root, myrrh, and chestnut bark.

I usually love Weleda products, but not this one I’m afraid. Based on the full size cost, the sample is worth about 66p.

Here I’ve tried sample sachets of InLight Beauty Face Cleanser, Deep Moisture Balm, and Night Balm. I love them all!

InLight Beauty samples

Expect my full review of InLight Beauty and several of their products next month. The value of these is half the cost of the discovery set – £4.75.
