As an eczema and psoriasis sufferer, Balmonds skincare has been on my radar for some time. When I learned they were looking for bloggers with troubled skin to try their range, I naturally jumped at the chance. Balmonds began with a mother so desperate to find an effective, non-steroidal moisturiser for her daughter’s painful skin that she ended up making one herself. I’ve suffered with psoriasis since about 6 years old. My skin has always had a patch of it somewhere. Usually it affects my scalp, hairline, and elbows, but little dots flare up all over when I’m stressed. Since becoming a parent, I developed dyshidrotic eczema on my hands. It seems to have been triggered by the frequency of washing up and laundry, but it may have been hormonal. Rubber gloves also trigger it. It’s hard to pin down a cause.
