The LoveLula June 2018 Beauty Box is another really lovely subscription box from LoveLula with some super-luxe items. It contains 5 natural skincare and beauty products, 4 of which are full size. It’s worth over £67, but costs just £13.95 as a subscriber. Let’s take a look at what’s inside this month’s box. Disclosure: I received the LoveLula June 2018 Beauty Box to review by LoveLula, but my opinions are honest and my own. L’Odaites Gentle Polyphenol Exfoliator Worth £39 alone, this elegant exfoliator is a wonderful addition to the June box and is by far my favourite product of the box. L’Odaites is a French brand created by 3 sisters to share the skincare regime of their family. The star ingredient of this exfoliator is the date fruit, which contains powerful antioxidant components and is rich in minerals and amino acids. The exfoliator has a gel-like consistency and is quite dark. My…
Korean sheet masks are a big thing across Instagram and beauty blogs, but as someone who cares about clean beauty, how can you make sure you choose only natural Korean sheet masks? In this post, I’d like to share some tips for choosing natural Korean sheet masks. How can you choose only natural masks when there are so many to choose from, and often the ingredients are listed in Korean? And exactly how can Korean sheet masks benefit skin, anyway? To help me answer these questions, I’ve selected and reviewed 4 different sheet masks from Nomad Beauty Collection (since posting, this store is unfortunately no longer with us). If you’re new to Korean sheet masks too, I hope you’ll find this post helpful! Natural Korean sheet masks How do I choose natural Korean sheet masks? The problem with Korean sheet masks is that the ingredients are often only listed in…
In this post I’m sharing my favourite Lavera makeup. Lavera is one of the first brands I chose when I started to buy natural beauty. I’ve already posted about some of my favourite Lavera products, such as Lavera Colour and Shine Shampoo, Lavera Deodorant, and Lavera Sensitive Toothpaste. The Lavera makeup range is really comprehensive. Each product I’ve tried from the range is good quality and excellent value for money. One of the great things about Lavera is that all of their products are NATRUE certified. I come back to Lavera time and time again! I used my favourite Lavera makeup items to create this natural daytime look. For my base I used Dr. Botanicals Kale Superfood Nourishing Day Moisturiser, and Faerie Minerals Maximum Coverage Foundation in Porcelain. My review of Lavera makeup Lavera Mineral Eyeshadow Quattro in Smokey Grey Disclosure: I received Lavera Glowing Highlighter, Lavera Soft Eyeliner, and…
I was so delighted to receive The Rose Tree Radiance Facial Essence earlier this year. Back in February, I reviewed The Rose Tree Intensive Balm. Since then, I’ve been using this gorgeous facial oil every day. In case you didn’t catch my review, The Rose Tree is British brand founded by the amazing Olga Rumble. The Rose Tree creates luxury organic and natural skincare to nourish the skin and mind. Olga describes the brand as: British luxury designed for modern women who want to look and feel amazing in today’s frantic-paced lifestyle. The Rose Tree Radiance Facial Essence is super clean, full of beneficial ingredients, and comes in gorgeous recyclable glassware with an easy to use dropper. If you think you can’t use face oil because you have combination skin, this face oil will definitely change your mind! Before using it, I was skeptical about using oil on my face as I…
My consumption of skincare and beauty this month was considerably less than last month. Because we were on holiday last month, my empties are dominated by travel sizes! Here are my May 2018 skincare, beauty, and health empties – I really hope you enjoy reading about them! Full size skincare, beauty, and health products Disclosure: I was gifted JUN-i Face Oil by Skin Organics Beauty Box, and Monat samples by Bristol Hair @ Monat. I received Elsa’s Natural Deodorant, PHB Brightening Eye Gel, and Botanico Vida Omega Oil from LoveLula, but my opinions are honest and my own. Elsa’s Natural Deodorant in Ocean Oh yes, I love this deodorant. It came in the LoveLula March Beauty Box, and, for me, works even better than mainstream aluminium based deodorants. Expect a full review soon. In the meantime, I urge you to buy this deodorant and never look back! Elsa’s Deodorant in…

Are you thinking about cleaning up your beauty routine? You’re not alone! Almost 50 percent of consumers buy natural beauty products, and 8 percent want to, according to Yes To (source). How are we nearly into May already? Another month of keeping track of the natural beauty and health products we use each month. I hope you enjoy reading my April 2018 skincare & beauty empties. April has been so exciting for me and my blog! I ran my first giveaway, for fertility supplements, and I wrote my first proper makeup review where I looked at healthier alternatives to MAC Vegas Volt Lipstick. This month has been all about trying new products, especially cleansers, shampoos, and conditioners. It irks me I’ve never been able to find the perfect shampoo and conditioner, so I’ve been making a big effort to try new products. Read on to find out how I got on. It’s a long one, but I hope you find it helpful. Disclosure: I was gifted The Rose Tree Intensive Balm by The Rose Tree, and Storksak Baby Wash & Shampoo…
I’m so excited to share this post about natural alternatives to MAC Vegas Volt Lipstick! It’s the first I’ve planned in a series where I’ll be replacing some of my less than healthy skincare and beauty with healthier alternatives. And if you’re looking for a roundup of 6 gorgeous coral hued lipsticks for spring, you’re in the right place! Let’s rewind to 2015, when we were planning our wedding. Our theme was orange floral, and my makeup matched the theme. My makeup artist chose MAC Vegas Volt Matte Lipstick for my lips. Have you used it before? It’s a shocking coral that I never would’ve picked myself, but when she tried it on me, I loved it. Reader, I confess. I fell off the natural beauty wagon when we got married. It was like I forgot why I’m so careful about what I use. There was also a craving to…
