I was super curious when an email landed in my inbox looking for trying-to-conceive bloggers to sample Proceive Max Fertility Supplement. We’ve been trying to conceive for several months now. I gratefully received the supplements as a gift, and I’d love to tell you all about them and how they can help on your TTC journey, so please read on for my review. Proceive giveaway! Before we look at the supplements, you might like to know that in collaboration with Proceive, I’m giving away 30 days supply of Proceive Max Women and Proceive Max Men on Instagram, worth almost £100, so please head on over to my Instagram post to enter. Why bother taking a fertility supplement? Disclosure: We were gifted Proceive Max to review, but my opinions are honest and my own. It’s common knowledge that healthy living is really important while trying for a baby. However, talking about…

Another month has passed, and I’m really enjoying keeping track of the natural beauty and healthcare products our family uses each month. I hope you enjoy reading my March 2018 skincare empties. Boy has this month been tough! First, my external hard drive blew up which contained all my precious photos, and I stupidly hadn’t backed up for 2 years. All Jonah’s baby photos from my DSLR would’ve been lost. Luckily, it had a tiny bit of life in it, so we were able to copy the files onto a new drive. What a relief! I’ve learned my lesson and am now taking weekly backups. Secondly, Jonah picked up a stomach bug and was properly sick for the first time. We really weren’t prepared for it. Then we caught it too, so we were all poorly and feeling very sorry for ourselves. Now we’re looking forward to a healthy April…

My LoveLula March 2018 Beauty Box arrived in the middle of the month. We’ve been so poorly this last week, and I’m terribly behind on my blog. But I’m so excited to share this box with you! The March box contains 6 natural beauty products, 3 of which are full size. The LoveLula March 2018 Beauty Box is worth £43, but costs just £13.95 as a subscriber. Let’s take a look at what’s inside this month’s box. Disclosure: I received this box to review by LoveLula, but my opinions are honest and my own. Elsa’s Deodorant Of all the products this month, I was most excited to try this one. I already have one in my stash and I’m going to write a full review of it, because it’s awesome! I received the Ocean fragrance, which contains peppermint, tea tree, and patchouli. The patchouli is detectable, but the peppermint fragrance…

In this post, I’m talking about creating a gentle toddler sleep routine, and I’ll be looking at some of the best natural products to help your toddler sleep. A sleep routine has nothing to do with strict bedtimes and sleep training, but is a calming way to help your toddler to relax and pick up on the cues that bedtime is near. Jonah’s biggest sleep association is, of course, the boob. But we’ve found it helpful to introduce a routine that he recognises and has come to expect. For instance, bath, nappy, massage, story, breastfeed, then bedtime. Natural bath and bedtime products can be a huge part of such a routine. Bathing, massaging, and enjoying familiar fragrances together creates a lovely bond between parent and toddler, and the practise is very comforting and soothing. I’m talking about massage and foot oils, pillow mists, and bath products to help calm and relax…

In this post, I’ll be taking a look at beautiful natural skincare brand Ezápé Naturals, and learning more about their gorgeous organic body care products. The range consists of 2 products: a luxurious body butter with rosemary, and a golden balm with chamomile and calendula. It was interesting to learn that the brand’s founder, Vanessa, invented the products to help treat her daughter’s eczema. I suffer with psoriasis which flares more often in winter, so I was particularly curious to see how these products could help improve my skin condition. I аm іn love wіth every рrоduсt thаt we hаnd-mаkе and sell. Mу business іѕ аll about mаkіng ѕаfе nаturаl аnd effective products fоr dry and sensitive skin ~ Vanessa Karikari What I love most about this range is its simplicity. There are few ingredients in the jar, and each ingredient is beneficial. There are no cheap fillers or unnecessary…

Goodness, how has a whole month passed since my last skincare empties post? What with Valentine’s Day just gone, and Mother’s Day fast approaching, it’s been a very busy month for me and my blog. I hope you’ll enjoy reading my February 2018 skincare empties! I’ve gone through fewer products this month than last month. I’ve been focusing on using Jonah’s bath products in my shower, since his body wash tubes have been open since January last year, and aren’t smelling as perfect as they should. I also have some lovely new natural toddler sleep products to try for Jonah, so please do subscribe to my blog or follow me to keep up to date. So, let’s go through my February 2018 skincare empties. Full size natural skincare products Odylique Gentle Herb Shampoo I do like Odylique Gentle Herb Shampoo, and I appreciate what is good about it. As well as…

I was so pleased to be sent a copy of Sarah Ockwell-Smith’s new book, The Gentle Eating Book (£9.99, Amazon). I’ve followed Sarah and gentle parenting since Jonah was born. I’m going to apologise in advance for the length of this post, but reading this book has moved me in so many ways. I’ve found it to be very healing. I’m so excited to share it with you! Disclosure: I received a free copy of this book to review. My opinions are my own and unbiased. Sarah is a founder of the gentle parenting movement, which is a shift away from authoritarian parenting approaches of the past. Gentle parenting aims to be a child led, respectful, and mindful way to raise children. Sarah’s other books include Gentle Parenting, The Gentle Discipline Book, The Gentle Sleep Book, and The Gentle Potty Training Book, amongst others. The Gentle Eating Book follows similarly by…

I was so delighted to receive The Rose Tree Intensive Balm with Marshmallow & Frangipani from The Rose Tree founder, Olga Rumble. The Rose Tree are a luxury British organic and natural skincare brand founded by a busy mum trying to nourish her skin and mind. The products are perfect for a mum who likes her skincare all natural. So much of this brand’s ideology appeals to me! Disclosure: I was sent The Rose Tree Intensive Balm to review. My opinions are honest and my own. My skincare is for real women, I focus on ingredients that actually make a difference. I like organic; I like my skincare ingredients to not have been fiddled with too much. And I definitely prefer them without pesticides. ~ Olga Rumble I was so impressed by how clean the ingredients in the products are, and the quality of the packaging. The range comes in beautifully labelled…

My LoveLula February 2018 Beauty Box arrived on Valentine’s day. What a lovely surprise to receive on my doorstep! I look forward to it so much each month. The February box contains 3 full sized natural skincare products and 1 sample size product. The LoveLula February 2018 Beauty Box is worth £65, but costs just £13.95 as a subscriber. Let’s take a look at what was inside this month’s box. Disclosure: I received this box to review by LoveLula, but my opinions are honest and my own. Mádara Exfoliating Oil-to-Milk Scrub Of all the products this month, I was most excited to try this one. Good timing, LoveLula, since my current organic face scrub is about to run out. This scrub is absolutely brilliant, I love…

It’s a thing amongst beauty bloggers to share their empties each month. I’m always incredibly curious to learn what gorgeous natural skincare and beauty products other beauty bloggers have used up. So I thought I’d hop on the bandwagon by sharing my own January 2018 skincare empties! I appear to have consumed a lot of skincare in January. However, some of these products have been open since 2013 (I don’t adhere to use by dates). In January I made a conscious effort to use up old products, for several reasons. First, I’ve been sent new and lovely skincare products to test this month, and need to make room. Second, I’m now a LoveLula Accredited Blogger with an allowance each month. I have a burning desire to break out of my comfort zone to try new things! Third, I’ve been taking better care of myself and actually using the products in…
