Hello again, skincare lover! Today I want to talk about using face oils for winter skincare. Winter is a troublesome time for skin. But it’s not just the cold temperature that bites. Dry winter air robs skin of vital moisture, leading to dehydration. Sadly, problems like eczema and psoriasis are worsened in colder months. But adding a face oil to your winter routine morning and night protects and nourishes your skin. It can improve and strengthen the skin barrier so that skin is better defended from the elements. And what’s more, face oils address specific skin concerns. For dry skin, using a face oil regularly can reduce dry patches and minimise fine lines. For acne prone skin, face oils can help calm the inflammation. And all skins benefit from the anti-ageing benefits of face oils. Sounds worth it, right? So, let’s talk about 3 of my very favourite face oils…

Welcome back, beauty lovers! Today I’m sharing my thoughts on the premium natural skincare line Typology! The French brand launched in the UK in May 2020, and I’m so excited to be part of the launch and try their wonderful skincare. I really didn’t know much about Typology before receiving my goody box. So let’s find out more about this interesting brand. Tell me about Typology skincare Typology bring us vegan, cruelty-free, and ethically sourced skincare. It was created Made.com’s founder, Ning Li. I’ve stayed in touch with this small indie brand and their lovely founder Saman over the months, and today I’m delighted to introduce their recent rebrand! Say hello to Beauty Cleanse Skincare! What’s changed? There’s a new name, new branding, and a new addition to the product family – Carrot Algae Marine Drops, plus of course redesigned packaging for the much loved Mean Green Superfood Drops facial oil. As an eczema and psoriasis sufferer, Balmonds skincare has been on my radar for some time. When I learned they were looking for bloggers with troubled skin to try their range, I naturally jumped at the chance. Balmonds began with a mother so desperate to find an effective, non-steroidal moisturiser for her daughter’s painful skin that she ended up making one herself. I’ve suffered with psoriasis since about 6 years old. My skin has always had a patch of it somewhere. Usually it affects my scalp, hairline, and elbows, but little dots flare up all over when I’m stressed. Since becoming a parent, I developed dyshidrotic eczema on my hands. It seems to have been triggered by the frequency of washing up and laundry, but it may have been hormonal. Rubber gloves also trigger it. It’s hard to pin down a cause. But I end up with tiny incredibly itchy…

In this post, I’m really happy to share a unique and exciting multi-purpose superfood serum-in-oil with you. Mean Green Superfood Drops by Beauty Cleanse Skincare are a beauty must-have. Just like a Mean Green Superfood Smoothie full of fruits and veg can give a burst of essential nutrients to the body, these beauty drops will give a similar boost to the skin and hair making them instantly nourished, revived and refreshed. Before we take a deep-dive into this product, and since this is my first time trying Beauty Cleanse Skincare, let’s take a quick look at this quirky London-based brand. Beauty Cleanse Skincare aims to simplify complicated beauty routines without compromising on results. Part of the brand ethos is to use clean beauty products and live a healthy, ethical life through plant-based options. Although I’m not vegan myself, it’s certainly a mindset I support as I was vegetarian/vegan for 10…

Today, I’d love to introduce you to a very special brand whose skincare I’ve had the privilege of using. o.Moi Skincare creates luxury Danish skincare with an elegant French twist. The brand really cares about helping you take some “me-time”. Not only that, but they create wonderful products to nurture your little ones, too. This desire to help you take me-time is a core tenet of the brand which is even reflected in the name – o.Moi comes from the French words “Oh Moi”. o.Moi Skincare helps you feel good about using only pure, healing essential oils as part of an aromatherapy experience. The range will take great care of both your skin and your well-being. It’s good to know that all products are free from parabens, silicones, mineral oils, and synthetic fragrances. The brand was created by Kristèle Sun, a fully qualified aromatherapist who was born in Mauritius and…

Kokoso Baby is the perfect baby and toddler skincare range for your own children, or as a gift. It’s pure, natural, and gentle, with no dubious ingredients. In this Kokoso Baby review, I share my thoughts on several Kokoso Baby skincare products. The entire range is based on the wonderful healing and moisturising qualities of raw virgin organic coconut oil. Kokoso Baby’s flagship product is a superior quality, readily absorbed coconut oil. There’s also a gentle body wash in fragranced or unfragranced (for newborns or sensitive skins), and an effective scalp cream – all based on the same coconut oil. Accessories to the range are a cute baby hairbrush and konjac baby sponge. Made with love for our babies and yours. Kokoso Baby was founded by then new mum Lauren who, like all parents, wanted the very best for her little one’s sensitive skin. With a passion for coconut oil,…

Searching for new rose floral waters lead me to discover French organic natural beauty brand Laboratoire du Haut-Segala. The brand was new to me, and I have to say I hadn’t heard the brand mentioned in the LoveLula Natural Beauty Facebook group. Reading their credentials, I became interested in their products. Let me tell you why. Disclosure: I was gifted Laboratoire du Haut-Segala products by Eco Beauty Shop. My views are honest and my own. The brand has a total passion for plants and aims to bring the benefits of plants to us through their Ecocert certified organic products. The range centres on multi-use floral waters, oils, and body butters. I love that Laboratoire du Haut-Segala aims to help me find products that improve my health and wellbeing, without harming the environment. As you would expect, the products are high quality. Virgin cold-pressed plant oils from specially selected seeds, flowers,…

In this post, I’ll be taking a look at beautiful natural skincare brand Ezápé Naturals, and learning more about their gorgeous organic body care products. The range consists of 2 products: a luxurious body butter with rosemary, and a golden balm with chamomile and calendula. It was interesting to learn that the brand’s founder, Vanessa, invented the products to help treat her daughter’s eczema. I suffer with psoriasis which flares more often in winter, so I was particularly curious to see how these products could help improve my skin condition. I аm іn love wіth every рrоduсt thаt we hаnd-mаkе and sell. Mу business іѕ аll about mаkіng ѕаfе nаturаl аnd effective products fоr dry and sensitive skin ~ Vanessa Karikari What I love most about this range is its simplicity. There are few ingredients in the jar, and each ingredient is beneficial. There are no cheap fillers or unnecessary…
