Natural Cosmetics Week is back for 2025 (17th-23rd November), and I’m delighted to be involved once again to help champion natural and organic cosmetics.
This year’s message encourages us to trust what’s behind the label, and puts the spotlight on the power of certified natural and organic cosmetics to help consumers avoid greenwashing.
“We want to empower more people to make conscious choices,” said Dr Mark Smith, NATRUE’s Director General. “By trusting what’s behind the label, consumers support brands that genuinely care – and together we can drive a more ethical, transparent, and sustainable future for cosmetics.”
What Is Natural Cosmetics Week?
Natural Cosmetics Week is a collective effort to build a more honest and responsible future for natural beauty. For one week in November, brands, manufacturers, retailers, distributors, wholesalers, producers, cosmetic formulators, scientists, beauty professionals, and consumers join to spotlight the real impact of truly natural and organic cosmetics.
In this way, Natural Cosmetics Week is a true celebration of natural and organic ingredients. The movement helps to promote awareness, educate, and set best practices across the industry.

NATRUE so kindly sent me a box of goodies to try that carry this prestigious NATRUE certification. I was so happy to receive the box—these are natural beauty products that I know and love.

Ben & Anna Aloe Vera Natural Deodorant
These little deodorant sticks work great in the fight against body odour. Ben & Anna natural deodorant sticks have a solid consistency that glides on really well and isn’t at all greasy. The formula contains shea butter and baking soda to keep you fresh, along with soothing aloe vera which is particularly welcome after shaving. This particular variety is fragrance free, so it works great if you have any sensitivity to fragrance.

Dr Hauschka Hydrating Hand Cream
How I love the luxurious Dr Hauschka! I hadn’t tried this hand cream before, so it’s a welcome addition to my collection. The cream absorbs so quickly, yet leaves my hands soft. Thankfully for anybody in winter, the effect is long lasting, too—and no greasy residue. The heavenly formula of blackthorn, anthyllis, and marshmallow helps the skin to retain its precious moisture while fortifying its barrier. Beeswax, almond oil, and wheat germ oil offer long-lasting protection. What a gem!

This gorgeously nourishing lip care stick softens, hydrates, and protects against dryness with luxurious shea butter, protective plant waxes, beeswax, almond oil, and anthyllis extract. It’s the perfect handbag lip balm. It’s so gentle, I use it on my kids, too.

Trilogy Vitamin C Super Serum
I was really excited to find this in the box, as vitamin C/antioxidant serum is a daily must for me. This product does it all—a brightening, tightening, smoothing all-in-one serum that combines eight powerhouse active ingredients including 10% vitamin C and 2% bio-retinol. All this, plus peptides, ceramides, hyaluronic acid, AHAs, and glycerin. It’s a real trooper! It smooths on beautifully and works well with my other products. It smells great too—warm vanilla fragrance with soft citrus notes.

This beautiful illuminating sheet mask with an intensive moisturising formula features an exclusive composition of dragon fruit, raspberry, and natural antioxidants for a fresh and radiant complexion. I really enjoyed my face mask while chilling out with my daughters who also had their own face masks!

Dr Bronner Tea Tree Pure-Castile Bar Soap
We’re huge fans of Dr Bronner so it was a lovely surprise to find this tea tree soap in the box. It’s made with certified fair-trade ingredients including organic hemp, coconut, and jojoba oils for a moisturising cleanse that won’t strip the skin. This one is good for acne-prone skin so I’m going to encourage my tween son to use it in his nightly routine.
