Welcome back, beauty lover! In this post we’re talking about The Best Round Lab Korean Skincare, and I’ll be sharing my top picks for glowing, hydrated, and gorgeous skin from this Korean brand.
Because you’re reading this, you’ve probably heard of Round Lab and you’re curious to know where to start and which products are the best sellers and most highly rated. Well, I’m here to spill the beans. I’ve reviewed 8 Round Lab products in this post to help you. As I try more from this brand, I’ll be adding to this review.
Who is Round Lab?
Round Lab creates innovative formulations focused on natural ingredients from South Korea. The raw materials and natural resources used in the products bring deep hydration, health, and vitality to skin. The natural and safe ingredients are sourced from the forests, seas and mountains of Korea.
You can also rest easy in the knowledge that Round Lab products are made from recyclable materials and printed with soy ink.
This best-selling brand is a wonderful place to start if you’re a beginner to Korean skin care. And can I mention – they make the best sunscreens! This is how I discovered Round Lab.
Clean and pure skincare derived from a land where the sea, wind and mountains meet.
Friends, this is the Korean skincare brand you can even find in Boots! And since the brand carries 5 lines, all offering something a little different, you’re sure to find all that you need for your skin type or condition.
Go to the bottom of the page to learn more about the different lines. Hopefully this will help you choose the right products across the lines for your skin type, skin tone, or issues. You can also try Round Lab’s skin assessment quiz to get help choosing the right products.
But without further ado, let’s take a look at some Round Lab best sellers!

It will forever be in my bathroom cabinet! My skin is softer, and better hydrated by far. Now, it seems to lap up my serums like never before. I love the easy to apply water-type texture and appreciate the fragrance-free formula.

My review of Dokdo Cleanser:
This cleanser really is unique. I love the creamy texture that transforms to a foam that easily washes away. On a single cleanse, my skin is left feeling clean, but without any tightness. On a second cleanse, I feel like the cleanser thoroughly removes any final trace of makeup and cleansing oil residue.
For reference, my skin is normal-dry. It’s the kind of cleanser that doesn’t strip away the natural moisture of the skin. And I love how the triple hyaluronic acid formula feels truly replenishing, my skin is soft and plump after cleansing. A little of the Dokdo Cleanser goes a really long way, and the 150ml bottle I own feels really huge. I know the bottle will last me a long time.

This is one of the best cleansing oils I’ve tried. I love the pump packaging and the lightweight feel of the oil – it glides on so easy and dissolves my makeup quickly and efficiently. I love the scent, it’s simple and elegant. It doesn’t sting around the eye area. I use a warm washcloth to remove it, then follow with the Dokdo Cleanser. Afterwards, my skin feels clean, comfortable, and hydrated.

8. Round Lab Birch Juice Moisturizing Sun Cream
This was my very first Round Lab purchase, and in my opinion one of their best products. Funnily enough, it started my love affair with Round Lab. The moisturising sunscreen deflects UV light while hydrating. It offers broad spectrum protection from both UVA and UVB rays with SPF45+ and PA++++. It’s reassuringly reef-safe, too.
Benefits:
- And the benefits of the birch line with silver birch sap

My experience of Round Lab Birch Juice Moisturizing Sun Cream:
Round Lab Birch Juice Moisturizing Sun Cream is hands down the best SPF I’ve ever used. It’s an easily absorbed cream that feels so light that I barely notice I’m wearing it. What’s more, it has a very mild scent which I really appreciate. With no white cast whatsoever, it doesn’t interfere with makeup and works well over other layers of skin care products. I promise that this will quickly become one of your favourite sunscreens! It’s so good.

The Round Lab Lines
Now, let’s take an in-depth review of the different Round Lab lines.
Birch Tree Line
Inje county, home to the first Birch Tree forest in Korea. Each spring, the birch trees are harvested for their “white sap”. The sweet birch tree sap is rich in Natural Moisturizing Factor (NMF), a blend of components naturally produced by the skin to maintain hydration in the stratum corneum. These components include amino acids, lactic acid, pyrrolidone carboxylic acid (PCA), and hyaluronic acid. Who knew that trees could benefit our skin so much?
The Birch line is good for all skin types, but is especially good for dry, dehydrated, and combination skin.
Benefits of the Birch Tree Line:
- Moisturise
- Prevent hyperpigmentation
- Collagen boost
- Prevent hair loss and strengthen hair
- Reduce inflammation
- Clear and brighten skin
- Antioxidants
- Purify and hydrate the skin
- Energise the skin
- Eliminate toxins
I really want to try the Round Lab Birch Juice Moisturizing Serum Ampoule next – who doesn’t want 72 hours of moisture? The Round Lab Birch Juice Moisturizing Cleanser is another product that I’d love to try from Round Lab’s moisturizing birch juice line.
1025 Dokdo Line (Ulleungdo Deep Sea Water)
Amazing fact: Round Lab was the first to research and recognise the benefits of mineral-rich deep sea water on human skin. Their Dokdo line focuses on mineral-rich sea water sourced close to the Dokdo island, specifically, between the islands of Ulleungdo and Dokdo. In fact, the seawater you find in the Dokdo line is the deepest you will find in any skincare. That’s 5000 ft below, to be precise. The water contains 90+ minerals and is close in its composition to human blood.
Try the Dokdo line if you have dry or sensitive skin since it has no added fragrance, and no super-active ingredients to irritate your skin. It’s packed with hydrating and rejuvenating ingredients.
Benefits of the 1025 Dokdo Line:
- Increased blood circulation
- Increased cell immunity
- Gentle exfoliation
- Rejuvenation of skin cells
- Improvement in eczema and other skin troubles
- Anti-aging properties from natural minerals
I’d love to try the Dokdo Water Gel Mask Sheet. It looks so soothing and plumping!
Geomundo Mugwort Line
This collection focuses on mugwort, which has been used for centuries as a natural ingredient in traditional preparations in Korea. Here, it is highly praised for its healing, anti-inflammatory, and soothing abilities.
Madecassoside, an ingredient extracted from mugwort, helps the Geomundo Mugwort line offer its ability for skincare focused on skin revitalisation. In addition to mugwort, this line offers artemisia. This extract is rich in vitamin A, vitamin B and beta-carotene, which together bring vitality and stress reduction to the skin.
If irritation, acne, and breakouts are troubling your skin, try the Mugwort line.
Benefits of the Geomundo Mugwort Line:
- Soothing
- Moisturising for dry skin
- Helps prevent sun damage
- Anti-inflammatory and antibacterial
- Antioxidant benefits
- Helps to calm irritated skin
Top of my wishlist is the Mugwort Calming Cleanser with 4-CICA ingredients.
Soybean Lines – Jeongseon Yakkong & Soybean Panthenol
Yakkong black soybeans are the star ingredient in the age-proofing Jeongseon Yakkong Soybean Line from Round Lab. What’s so special about soybean? In fact, Yakkong soybean has 19.5 times more anthocyanins and isoflavones than regular soybeans. Not only that, but the beans contain a powerful anti-cancer substance called glycitein. Natural vitamin E and retinoic acid further improve the profile of these skincare products. This line truly promises to future proof your skin in unimaginable ways! You can also try Round Lab’s Soybean Panthenol, there are three products in this line.
This is the line to turn to for the best well ageing care.
Benefits of the Jeongseon Yakkong Soybean Line:
- Anti-ageing
- Skin protection
- Skin tightening
- Hair health
If you’re looking for an effective anti-ageing serum, then try the Soybean Nourishing Serum. The Round Lab Soybean Nourishing Cream also sounds like a great choice for mature skin. Both have flown on to my wishlist!
Yangyang Pine Tree Line
Since time began, people in Korea have regarded pine trees as a symbol of life and resilience. With this in mind, Round Lab created the Pine Tree Line. Similarly to the Birch Tree Line, the Pine Tree Line combines Natural Moisturizing Factor (NMF) and madecassoside for skin regeneration. The added extra is pycnogenol, an ingredient used to treat inflammation and circulatory issues – yes, it comes from pine trees! Clever nature.
This is the line to turn to if you have any kind of inflammatory skin conditions such as hormonal breakouts, acne, or rosacea. Even psoriasis and broken veins.
Benefits of the Yangyang Pine Tree Line:
- Antioxidants for anti-ageing
- Anti-inflammatory and antibacterial
- Restoring skin structure and elasticity
- Moisturising for dry skin
- Calming irritated skin
Round Lab doesn’t offer much in the way of body care, I mean, perhaps you can just use the face care on your body. But one item that’s caught my eye is the Pine Calming Cica Body Wash. I can only dream about how cleansing and refreshing this is, especially if you’re experiencing acne on your body.
