Many of you know the excitement of waiting for a natural beauty box to arrive – that was me last week. But this was no average natural beauty box – it was a limited edition blogger box, and a friend and fellow blogger had chosen its contents especially for me – That Natural Hygge!
I really love the natural beauty blogger community I’ve found myself in over the past year.
One of the most supportive bloggers I’ve had the pleasure of knowing is Lou of The Beauty Bank.
I was thrilled when I learned she’d launched an online natural beauty boutique called That Natural Hygge.
Lou and I both started our blogs early 2017. As busy mamas, we both find solace in our skincare and beauty routines. As Lou says:

That Natural Hygge Limited Edition Beauty Box
That Natural Hygge launched on 1st September. To celebrate the launch, the boutique and brands came together to create exclusive, limited edition boxes for lucky bloggers to try and review.
I was so honoured when Lou asked me to be part of the launch!
Opening the box was a treat to the senses – I was swept up by the divine fragrance and the pretty eco-friendly packaging dotted with dried rose buds and lavender flowers. What gorgeous attention to detail!
A handwritten note was a lovely touch that made me feel special and thought about.
The products themselves are amazing, and typical of the values of the boutique. So, let’s take a closer look at the products inside the box.
Bodhi & Birch Super25 Botanical Serum
I was absolutely bowled over when I opened the box to see this gorgeous botanical serum from Bodhi & Birch inside. I use a serum or face oil everyday, and this was my first time time trying a Bodhi & Birch product. The excitement! I’d heard great things about their products from other bloggers.
As the name suggests, this serum contains 25 superfood oils including nourishing plum kernel, anti-ageing baobab, and radiance-boosting blueberry seed.
Skin is left radiant and healthy thanks to a potent balance of phytonutrients.
The serum claims to target the signs of skin degradation and ageing, leaving skin firmer, softer, smoother, and healthier – with a radiant glow.
It’s a real wellbeing experience. I drop some into my hands, smooth them together, take a deep breath in, and gently press into my skin. The serum is a gorgeous orange colour. Its fragrance is slightly spicy with deep berry notes – it’s warming and complex.
The greatest benefit I see from this serum is radiance – my skin looks more luminous. I also feel like its moisture levels have been boosted, especially useful since the weather has become colder recently.
This is a seriously good quality serum, and I can’t wait to see how it improves my skin over a longer period of time. It’s the most expensive skincare item in my collection, so I have high hopes for it!
Bodhi & Birch Super25 Botanical Serum
Alteya Organics Energizing Eye Cream
I absolutely love Alteya Organics and I hadn’t tried their eye cream before I received this box. At 31 weeks pregnant, I’m not getting much sleep, so this cream is a welcome addition to my collection – such a thoughtful pick, Lou!
The cream aims to rejuvenate the under-eye area, minimise dark circles, fine lines, and puffiness.
As with other Alteya products, it contains herbs and plants from the eco Balkan Mountain region along with hyaluronic acid, marine and coastal plant extracts, plus the addition of arnica to keep the eye area hydrated and reduce dark circles.
This is a lovely rich cream with a delicate rose scent. It doesn’t feel too heavy or weigh my delicate eye area down.
I’ve certainly seen an increase in hydration since starting to use this cream, which has softened the fine lines around my eyes. I’m really interested to see if it will reduce my dark circles given a little more time.
Alteya Organics Energizing Eye Cream
100 Acres Rose & Lavender Bubble Bath
This bubble bath is described by 100 Acres as one of the top 10 best natural bubble baths. It’s a blend of over 10 different essential oils and natural botanicals, including rose and lavender.
The fragrance is beautifully enveloping – rosy, yet not overly floral, with spicy undertones of benzoin and clove.
It’s not the most bubbly of bubble baths, but it doesn’t contain any harsh foaming agents – making it extra gentle.
I find it so comforting when I’ve had “one of those days” and I’m finding it hard to shake off a low mood. A soak with this gorgeous bubble bath, and I feel much better emotionally and physically.
As with the rest of the products in the box, it’s a superb wellbeing booster.
100 Acres Rose & Lavender Bubble Bath
ISUN Rose-Cucumber Face and Body Mist
This face and body mist is suitable for all skin types. It claims to cool, soothe, and hydrate with anti-inflammatory cucumber distillate, nutrient-rich aloe vera, and soothing rose oil.
It was so considerate of Lou to include this in my box. Given its cooling and soothing properties, I think it would be a perfect addition to my labour bag. I’m tempted to just carry it in my bag for a quick spritz during hot and bothered third trimester moments!
The fragrance is quite unusual – there’s rose, plus earthy spicy cucumber. My skin feels refreshed and comfortable after use.
