Welcome back, skincare lover! Today I’m excited to introduce the latest product in Beauty Cleanse Skincare’s collection. It’s the wonderful Beauty Cleanse Skincare Anti-Pollution Deep Cleansing Oil!

As an ambassador for Beauty Cleanse Skincare, I was delighted to be one of the first to try this cleansing oil. I’ve had a week to try it and it’s fast becoming one of my favourite oil cleansers.

I know you will love it too, because along with being incredibly effective, it’s also inclusive. Wonderfully suited to all skin types, gender-neutral, vegan, and cruelty-free.

Beauty Cleanse Skincare Cleansing Oil is a good choice for our planet too, because it utilises upcycled superfood ingredients that would’ve otherwise gone to waste.

Help for stressed out skin and maskne

Described by the brand as “a juice cleanse for city skin”, the gentle fragrance-free oil-to-milk cleanser is especially helpful for stressed out and blemish prone skin.

And those of us living with the effects of pollution and suffering with the dreaded “maskne” will really benefit. Due to its careful formulation, it’s ideal for even oily, congested skins.

The brand’s founder, Saman, explains why:

By using the right oils, you can cleanse your pores of dirt and bacteria naturally, gently and effectively, while replacing the dirty oil with beneficial oils extracted from natural botanicals to heal, protect and nourish your skin.

Here’s what sets it apart for me. It contains 2 upcycled superfood ingredients – balancing hemp seed oil and anti-inflammatory cranberry seed oil, which would be otherwise wasted by the food industry. This not only benefits skin, but minimises waste and encourages aware consumption.

Excited to learn how we got on? Let’s find out!

The effective, antioxidant rich cleanser

Described as “a lightweight oil cleanser that transforms into a light milky cleansing solution upon contact with water. It gently yet effectively dissolves hard to remove makeup, city pollution, SPF, and heavy post-gym sweat, leaving skin clean and replenished.” It sounds exactly what we need right now.

And let’s talk about the ingredients’ effects on the skin. As we’ve already seen, the cleansing oil contains upcycled hemp and cranberry seed oils. But did you know that these superfood ingredients are actually amazing for skin due to their antioxidant and omega oil compounds?

Together with grapeseed, cabbage seed oil, and anti-inflammatory bisabolol, Saman has cleverly blended it all into an antioxidant-rich cleansing treat. One that promises to help moisturise, improve natural barrier function, and protect from environmental damage.

My experience with Beauty Cleanse Skincare Cleansing Oil

The cleansing oil comes in a cardboard container in a beautiful clear glass bottle with plastic pump action nozzle. You can choose the type of closure on Beauty Cleanse Skincare’s website, and there’s also a plastic-free aluminium cap option. I love the clean and minimalist labelling which truly reflects the message of the brand and the product within.

I can immediately see the rich golden colour of the oil – it looks truly amazing and full of goodness.

To use, I apply 1 to 2 pumps of the oil into my hand and smooth onto my dry face. There is a slight nutty fragrance to the oil, but no added fragrance at all. Great for those sensitive to fragrance components.

The oil feels rich and unctuous. I can actually see my makeup sliding about as I massage with my fingers. I add a few drops of water to emulsify the oil, then use a soft warm flannel to remove makeup, SPF, and daily grime. This cleansing oil is a hard worker! I love how easy it is to remove everything. I follow with a second cleanse, usually a gel or foam.

My skin feels beautifully clean and pillowy soft after using Beauty Cleanse Skincare Cleansing Oil. There’s no irritation, even on my skin’s most sensitive days using retinol and acids. I haven’t been able to use it while suffering breakouts, so I can’t let you know about that. But stay tuned for updates on this cleanser as I’m sure to include it in future posts.

Overall + discount code!

To sum up, this is a fun and effective cleansing experience. I love the investment I’m making in my skin by using a cleanser so rich in antioxidants and nourishing oils. Thinking about the future, I’m excited to see the long term effects using the cleanser has on my skin. I’m also super happy to be lessening food waste with my skincare choices.
