This category offers practical routines and kinder product picks for babies, toddlers, and young children, grounded in gentle, evidence-based wellness. Find ingredients that support a developing skin barrier, like oat extract, calendula, chamomile, shea butter, and mineral zinc oxide—while steering clear of fragrance, parabens, and harsh surfactants.

Do you battle to keep your kids clean? Although I love my kids to get mucky (not as much as they like to get mucky, I might add), whether it’s outdoors in the mud or being tactile with food (baby led weaning, anyone?) we do appreciate a good clean up afterwards. So I was pleased to hear from kids’ bath-time brand Scrubbingtons, who wondered if I’d like to try their Hand & Face Foam. This post is a paid partnership with Scrubbingtons. My views are honest and my own. Turn your bath dodgers and shower swervers into grime fighters with our foam-tastic washing products for real kids. Scrubbingtons products contain naturally-derived ingredients, are suitable for sensitive skin, vegan, and cruelty free. Mums Karen and Emma created the brand after spotting a huge gap in the market between baby skincare and adult skincare. Especially for kids who like to get mucky!…

Welcome back, beauty lovers! Today I’d like to introduce a very lovely sun protection brand and their gorgeous kids sunscreen. Hello, Suntribe Kids Mineral Sunscreen! This post is a paid partnership with Suntribe. My views are honest and my own. I can’t believe this clean sunscreen brand flew under my radar for so long before I met one of their lovely co-founders, Julia. Suntribe is all about sun care with no worries, which feels especially important when you have little ones. I spend way too much time worrying about my kids’ sunscreen, whether or not I’ve applied enough, in the right places, and whether or not I need to reapply it! Mums and dads, are you with me? So I really don’t want the additional worry of our sunscreen containing controversial ingredients or polluting the environment. Born from the love of nature, Suntribe was founded in Sweden by outdoor lovers,…

Hi beauty lovers! Have you heard of Plastic Free July? Plastic Free July is a movement to reduce the amount of plastic waste we produce. The challenge is to refuse single use plastics in July. As a family, we are mindful of the impact of our plastic waste and have been reducing single use plastics for some time. But there’s still huge room for improvement. The most offending single use plastics we still use as a family are without a doubt wet wipes and disposable nappies. I know how harmful they are for the environment, but sometimes getting through life with little kids seems more important. Can you relate? How does this help you? Maybe you’re in the same position as me. We can’t promise a plastic free July, but we can make a start implementing some changes for life. This is what it’s all about! …The truth is that…

Do you love neroli skin care products? Me too! Neroli is uplifting, romantic and calming. Perfect for post lockdown emotional support. And so many natural beauty bloggers love neroli skin care too! One of my favourite memories as a young girl was sitting under my mum’s mock orange tree in the garden, listening to the bees buzzing around the fragrant blooms. When mock orange (aka “Philadelphus Virginalis”) is about to blossom, my thoughts turn to neroli (aka Bitter Orange, “Citrus Aurantium”). My favourite way to enjoy the benefits of neroli is in skin care. My favourite place to shop them? LoveLula of course! So this post is all about neroli – what it is, neroli skin care benefits, and my roundup of blogger neroli skin care favourites. What is neroli in skincare? Neroli in beauty care is created by adding neroli essential oil or hydrosol to skin and hair care…

As an eczema and psoriasis sufferer, Balmonds skincare has been on my radar for some time. When I learned they were looking for bloggers with troubled skin to try their range, I naturally jumped at the chance. Balmonds began with a mother so desperate to find an effective, non-steroidal moisturiser for her daughter’s painful skin that she ended up making one herself. I’ve suffered with psoriasis since about 6 years old. My skin has always had a patch of it somewhere. Usually it affects my scalp, hairline, and elbows, but little dots flare up all over when I’m stressed. Since becoming a parent, I developed dyshidrotic eczema on my hands. It seems to have been triggered by the frequency of washing up and laundry, but it may have been hormonal. Rubber gloves also trigger it. It’s hard to pin down a cause. But I end up with tiny incredibly itchy…

As a mum to four little ones, I’ve used a lot of natural sunscreen for kids! From babies, to bigger kids – all tried and tested. And in this post I’m sharing the natural sunscreen for kids we’ve used the most. Step this way if high street and chemist store sunscreens irritate your children’s skin! My favourite natural sunscreens for kids are those that can be used for both adults and children. Packing just one tube saves valuable space in my bag, and a gentle mineral sunscreen works just fine for grown ups too! Peace of mind I’m using the gentlest sun protection there is. Oh, summer. We look forward to it all year, and then it’s over in a flash. But what memories we take away! Happy children playing on the beach, meals together, and whiling the day away lounging in comfy hammocks, if we’re lucky! But with extra UV…

In this review, I’m delighted to introduce a very special baby and toddler shampoo. Enfance Paris Gentle Shampoo is one of the nicest shampoos my little ones have had the pleasure of trying. Since this is my first encounter with Enfance Paris, let’s learn a little bit about this brand. A child’s skin is the most precious there is… French mother Agnès Laffourcade created Enfance Paris to develop the products she couldn’t find in the stores for her children. What makes the brand unique is that its organic clean skincare products are tailored to different ages of children, from birth to adolescence. Since both my children are under 3, I’ll be using those aimed at the 0 to 3 range. The focus is on caring for delicate skin with gentle beneficial aromatherapy-based formulations and natural vegetable butters. I’m so impressed with the quality of the brand. Firstly, all products aim…

Today, I’d love to introduce you to a very special brand whose skincare I’ve had the privilege of using. o.Moi Skincare creates luxury Danish skincare with an elegant French twist. The brand really cares about helping you take some “me-time”. Not only that, but they create wonderful products to nurture your little ones, too. This desire to help you take me-time is a core tenet of the brand which is even reflected in the name – o.Moi comes from the French words “Oh Moi”. o.Moi Skincare helps you feel good about using only pure, healing essential oils as part of an aromatherapy experience. The range will take great care of both your skin and your well-being. It’s good to know that all products are free from parabens, silicones, mineral oils, and synthetic fragrances. The brand was created by Kristèle Sun, a fully qualified aromatherapist who was born in Mauritius and…

I’m always eager to try out any new baby care range, so I was really excited when I found out Odylique had launched new organic baby care products under the name Odylique Baby. Odylique are amongst my favourite brands for those with very sensitive skin because they use only the cleanest of ingredients. So hearing about Odylique Baby made complete sense! The brand describes itself as genuine, nurturing, and unique – which is an accurate description. It feels like I don’t need to check the ingredients list since I trust the brand so much! But I do though, just because it’s interesting. I love that the products are handmade in small batches on a family farm in Suffolk. Ingredients are sourced locally and sustainably with no air-freight since everything comes from the UK or Europe. Odylique never tests on animals and even won an RSPCA award for their commitment to…

Kokoso Baby is the perfect baby and toddler skincare range for your own children, or as a gift. It’s pure, natural, and gentle, with no dubious ingredients. In this Kokoso Baby review, I share my thoughts on several Kokoso Baby skincare products. The entire range is based on the wonderful healing and moisturising qualities of raw virgin organic coconut oil. Kokoso Baby’s flagship product is a superior quality, readily absorbed coconut oil. There’s also a gentle body wash in fragranced or unfragranced (for newborns or sensitive skins), and an effective scalp cream – all based on the same coconut oil. Accessories to the range are a cute baby hairbrush and konjac baby sponge. Made with love for our babies and yours. Kokoso Baby was founded by then new mum Lauren who, like all parents, wanted the very best for her little one’s sensitive skin. With a passion for coconut oil,…
