In this post I share my May 2019 natural beauty empties. Weleda feature in most of my empties posts – they’re one of my favourite natural beauty brands. This month my favourite empty is their wonderful Age Revitalising Concentrate – it’s such a star product! Also from Weleda is their Skin Food Light, and creamy body washes. Other empties include bubble bath from Sophie the Giraffe, natural deodorant from Elsa’s, Odylique face moisturiser, tinted lip balm from Burt’s Bees, and a handful of samples. Enjoy my empties! Natural beauty empties Weleda Evening Primrose Age Revitalising Concentrate This is a lovely lightweight serum to use under moisturiser as an anti-aging treatment. Evening primrose in the serum helps stimulate skin’s natural protective and regenerative abilities – perfect as I head towards 40! I’m quite sure Weleda Age Revitalising Concentrate makes a difference to my skin – hydrating and plumping out wrinkles. Weleda…

I’m always eager to try out any new baby care range, so I was really excited when I found out Odylique had launched new organic baby care products under the name Odylique Baby. Odylique are amongst my favourite brands for those with very sensitive skin because they use only the cleanest of ingredients. So hearing about Odylique Baby made complete sense! The brand describes itself as genuine, nurturing, and unique – which is an accurate description. It feels like I don’t need to check the ingredients list since I trust the brand so much! But I do though, just because it’s interesting. I love that the products are handmade in small batches on a family farm in Suffolk. Ingredients are sourced locally and sustainably with no air-freight since everything comes from the UK or Europe. Odylique never tests on animals and even won an RSPCA award for their commitment to…

March has flown by! I’ve sampled so many amazing new brands and products, it’s felt like Christmas every day. In my empties this month you’ll find a gentle face moisturiser, organic conditioner, foaming and gel face washes, hand sanitiser, creamy body wash, sumptuous body butter, and a Mother’s day treat I ate too soon – oops! Enjoy my March 2019 natural beauty empties! Natural beauty empties Botanicals Gentle Moisturiser This moisturiser is one of my favourites. It’s so gentle and mild, and the fragrance is wonderfully delicate. Even though it moisturises effectively, I’ve been blemish free throughout my time using it. Now that winter is drawing to a close and spring is approaching, I’m talking about the best face masks you can buy that are natural and organic. The absolute best face masks are going to help you get your glow on, reinvigorating your skin to reveal its best self. You’ll find a great variety of face masks in this post – a silky pre-made mask, an exfoliating powder mask you mix yourself (fun, and very versatile), a peel mask, a sleeping mask, and one under £10 for the budget conscious. If you’re baffled by all the different types of mask and are wondering which to try and what might suit you best, this post will help you. But first things first. Why use a face mask in your routine? A face mask is an essential part of your routine – especially if you’re spot or blackhead prone. And if dull…

Welcome back, my friend! Wondering what’s essential in the postpartum period? Take the guesswork out of your post-pregnancy planning – here are the postpartum essentials you’ll want to stash at home and pack in your hospital bag in the UK. As an experienced mum of four children, I love sharing what worked for me postnatally. I took so much needless stuff to hospital with my first child – I wish I knew then, what I know now! The postpartum period is such a beautiful and special time. But it can be overwhelming, too – especially as a first time mum. After all, not only have you just given birth – whether vaginally or via c-section, you’re experiencing huge physical changes too. A drop in hormones often leads to mood swings – baby blues are a real thing! And not to mention – you now have a brand new little one…

Welcome back my friend! In this post, I’m sharing the labour essentials that have got me through four unmedicated Hypnobirth labours. I first shared this post while expecting my second baby in 2018. We’ve welcomed two more babies since then, so I’ve had plenty of trial and error finding out what products are worth your money, and which are not. These are the items you’ll use to make your Hypnobirth labour easier and more comfortable! A useful tip: I take my labour essentials with me separately so I can access everything easily without it getting mixed into my other postpartum and hospital bag items. Having these items in an easy to access pack makes me feel so well-prepared in my final weeks. I hope you enjoy reading about them! Goodness, how has a whole month passed since my last skincare empties post? What with Valentine’s Day just gone, and Mother’s Day fast approaching, it’s been a very busy month for me and my blog. I hope you’ll enjoy reading my February 2018 skincare empties! I’ve gone through fewer products this month than last month. I’ve been focusing on using Jonah’s bath products in my shower, since his body wash tubes have been open since January last year, and aren’t smelling as perfect as they should. I also have some lovely new natural toddler sleep products to try for Jonah, so please do subscribe to my blog or follow me to keep up to date. So, let’s go through my February 2018 skincare empties. Full size natural skincare products Odylique Gentle Herb Shampoo I do like Odylique Gentle Herb Shampoo, and I appreciate what is good about it. As well as…

We’ve been using Odylique Gentle Herb Shampoo for a couple of weeks now. I recently weaned my husband off Head and Shoulders and he did have a bit of a moan about this shampoo, with its lack of suds and sludgy appearance. Odylique claim it can be used on baby too, but since I’m still wading through a giant bottle of Weleda Calendula Shampoo and Body Wash for little J, I’ve yet to try it on him. The shampoo is suitable for problem scalps, although it didn’t make a lick of difference to the psoriasis on my scalp. As a result, I’ve given up hope of any external product helping with that! If you’re swapping from a shampoo with harsh detergents you may well see a difference in the condition of your scalp, because of all the scalp loving ingredients the shampoo contains. Let’s have a look at the beneficial…
