August 2019 natural beauty empties – empties much? This month, we used a mountain of products up! And the star product is a beautiful face oil that has brought me a daily glow since Cara’s birth.
There’s also shampoo, balms, 2 rose waters, face cream, body lotion, essential oil, and a serum, along with a handful of travel and sample sizes.
I hope you enjoy my empties.

Myroo Skin Boost Serum
This little beauty was so kindly gifted by the lovely founder of Myroo, to take in my hospital bag when I had Cara.
I’ve enjoyed it almost every day since then! I love everything about it. The fragrance, the way it makes my skin feel, and the glow it brings. It contains rosehip oil plus borage, starflower, and raspberry seed oils to protect against wear and tear and help skin maintain its moisture levels.
Rahua Voluminous Shampoo
I find Rahua to be an incredibly interesting brand, and this is a luxury shampoo with a considerable price tag. You can read my full review of Rahua Voluminous Shampoo and Conditioner from earlier this year.
The shampoo certainly benefited both mine and my husband’s hair. We both have fine sparse hair, and found it to be lightly cleansing without weighing our hair down. I do feel it’s worth the money, since the bottle has lasted us 5 months.

Odylique Gentle Wash & Shampoo
My children both loved this super-mild and sweet smelling body wash and shampoo from Odylique Baby. It washes well while soothing their delicate skin.
I love that the bottle is made out of recycled plastic milk bottles!

Odylique Organic Soothing Salve
This is a great, non-irritating, multi-purpose balm for children that’s also a mighty fine balm for adults, too. It contains just shea butter, coconut, sunflower and castor oils, along with chamomile extract.
I used this balm on my children’s bums but also on my own eczema. It soothed and protected us all for several months.

Alteya Organics Rose Water
Somehow I managed to use up 2 rose waters this month! I reviewed several rose waters last summer, and this is one of my favourites. Rose water is a must-have for me, so I’ve tried a few.
Alteya always make such lovely products, and this one is a classic. Refreshing and pure, it’s good for all kinds of beauty and hair uses. It’s such great value for money!

Odylique Calming Rose Super Tonic
Another very fine rose water based “tonic”. However, this one also contains some rose essential oil.
It’s on the expensive side, but it’s brilliant quality and I love the sturdy glass bottle.

MOA The Green Balm
This iconic balm is a must have in your first aid kit. I used it to soothe eczema on my skin but it’s good for all kinds of skin problems like bites, rashes, etc.
It contains soothing yarrow which is a powerhouse of a skincare ingredient.

BAO Recovery Face Cream
This rather lovely face cream came in a previous ecocobox.
Light and easily absorbed, my husband was a big fan of this cream too.

Weleda Sea Buckthorn Body Lotion
I’ve written about Weleda body lotions in many empties posts before, but it’s worth saying again – I love them.
Weleda always feature in my empties, I’m a huge fan!

Essential Oils Online Orange Essential Oil
A very nice orange essential oil. I used it in my breast milk lotion DIY. The last of the bottle went into a DIY deodorant I’m formulating at the moment.
Essential Oils Online offers great value for money. As you can see from the tatty bottle, we had a good time together!

Alteya Organics Rose Otto Regenerating Concentrate
This oil-free serum has been on my shelf a long time. I enjoyed it mostly as part of my PM routine, simply on its own or layered with an oil over the top.
Alteya claim that it will transform texture, reduce wrinkles, and improve luminosity, which I’ve generally found to be true.

Travel and sample size empties
This month I used a nice little sample pot of Lena Wild Harmony Rescue Mask, and a Weleda Skin Food travel size.
I also used a Weleda Evening Primrose Body Oil, and a Kimberly Sayer Restore Anti-Aging Cream sample.
