In this post, I’ll be taking a look at beautiful natural skincare brand Ezápé Naturals, and learning more about their gorgeous organic body care products. The range consists of 2 products: a luxurious body butter with rosemary, and a golden balm with chamomile and calendula. It was interesting to learn that the brand’s founder, Vanessa, invented the products to help treat her daughter’s eczema. I suffer with psoriasis which flares more often in winter, so I was particularly curious to see how these products could help improve my skin condition. I аm іn love wіth every рrоduсt thаt we hаnd-mаkе and sell. Mу business іѕ аll about mаkіng ѕаfе nаturаl аnd effective products fоr dry and sensitive skin ~ Vanessa Karikari What I love most about this range is its simplicity. There are few ingredients in the jar, and each ingredient is beneficial. There are no cheap fillers or unnecessary…
Goodness, how has a whole month passed since my last skincare empties post? What with Valentine’s Day just gone, and Mother’s Day fast approaching, it’s been a very busy month for me and my blog. I hope you’ll enjoy reading my February 2018 skincare empties! I’ve gone through fewer products this month than last month. I’ve been focusing on using Jonah’s bath products in my shower, since his body wash tubes have been open since January last year, and aren’t smelling as perfect as they should. I also have some lovely new natural toddler sleep products to try for Jonah, so please do subscribe to my blog or follow me to keep up to date. So, let’s go through my February 2018 skincare empties. Full size natural skincare products Odylique Gentle Herb Shampoo I do like Odylique Gentle Herb Shampoo, and I appreciate what is good about it. As well as…
I was so pleased to be sent a copy of Sarah Ockwell-Smith’s new book, The Gentle Eating Book (£9.99, Amazon). I’ve followed Sarah and gentle parenting since Jonah was born. I’m going to apologise in advance for the length of this post, but reading this book has moved me in so many ways. I’ve found it to be very healing. I’m so excited to share it with you! Disclosure: I received a free copy of this book to review. My opinions are my own and unbiased. Sarah is a founder of the gentle parenting movement, which is a shift away from authoritarian parenting approaches of the past. Gentle parenting aims to be a child led, respectful, and mindful way to raise children. Sarah’s other books include Gentle Parenting, The Gentle Discipline Book, The Gentle Sleep Book, and The Gentle Potty Training Book, amongst others. The Gentle Eating Book follows similarly by…
I was so delighted to receive The Rose Tree Intensive Balm with Marshmallow & Frangipani from The Rose Tree founder, Olga Rumble. The Rose Tree are a luxury British organic and natural skincare brand founded by a busy mum trying to nourish her skin and mind. The products are perfect for a mum who likes her skincare all natural. So much of this brand’s ideology appeals to me! Disclosure: I was sent The Rose Tree Intensive Balm to review. My opinions are honest and my own. My skincare is for real women, I focus on ingredients that actually make a difference. I like organic; I like my skincare ingredients to not have been fiddled with too much. And I definitely prefer them without pesticides. ~ Olga Rumble I was so impressed by how clean the ingredients in the products are, and the quality of the packaging. The range comes in beautifully labelled…

It’s a thing amongst beauty bloggers to share their empties each month. I’m always incredibly curious to learn what gorgeous natural skincare and beauty products other beauty bloggers have used up. So I thought I’d hop on the bandwagon by sharing my own January 2018 skincare empties! I appear to have consumed a lot of skincare in January. However, some of these products have been open since 2013 (I don’t adhere to use by dates). In January I made a conscious effort to use up old products, for several reasons. First, I’ve been sent new and lovely skincare products to test this month, and need to make room. Second, I’m now a LoveLula Accredited Blogger with an allowance each month. I have a burning desire to break out of my comfort zone to try new things! Third, I’ve been taking better care of myself and actually using the products in…
As a breastfeeding mama, it’s always intriguing to find premade snacks marketed towards breastfeeding women. These Nutrimum Breastfeeding Bars caught my eye in Boots last week – I just had to buy a pack! I am partial to a biscuit or flapjack, so I had to find out what the benefits for a breastfeeding mama would be from these bars. And importantly, if they actually taste good. When I first started breastfeeding Jonah, I was the thirstiest, hungriest mama alive. Seriously, I kept a pint of water and a 4-pack of Co-op granola bars next to me at all times. Probably not very healthy, since one of those granola bars contains about 300 calories and lots of sugar. So, these Nutrimum Breastfeeding Bars are a healthier option and have some added goodness to support your body in its breastfeeding role. Obviously, a varied and healthy diet is the best way…

Cult MOA brand gives me all the feels. We already use their green balm for a multitude of things, so I was delighted to find the bath potion in my January beauty box. The design and materials of the packaging are…
Earlier this year, I got balayage into my hair, so was in need of a shampoo that would support my new colouring. I always go for shampoo without SLS, silicones, and unhealthy preservatives. This time, I chose Lavera Colour and Shine Shampoo, since it supports colour-treated hair with a whole bunch of lovely ingredients. Of course, the best way to protect hair and its colour is to keep it covered up. Not possible most of the time, I hear you say. That’s where products come in. Moisturising is the best way to keep the colour in your hair. That means using a really good shampoo and conditioner specially made with colour-treated hair in mind. You can always try washing your hair less frequently, if you can stand it. Try some of these tips for keeping the colour in your hair. There’s some great advice in there that applies to us…

Mádara SOS Instant Moisture + Radiance Hydra Mask This gorgeous face mask from Latvian skincare company Mádara is ideal for harsh December weather. It’s an intensive treatment mask that wipes off, or is left on. I’ve also found it to be a very good winter barrier cream. This mask is great if you’re a busy mama who…
