Weleda Pomegranate Deodorant is a wonderfully refreshing and effective natural deodorant that is free from aluminium salts and won’t clog pores. I love it so much that it’s appeared twice in my empties posts in the last year! My favourite natural deodorant is Elsa’s Organics Deodorant, but this is my very close second favourite. I love […]

Weleda Gentle Cleansing Foam review

In this post, I review Weleda Gentle Cleansing Foam. I’m a big fan of cleansing foams. If I’ve been wearing makeup or SPF, I use a cleansing foam as the second step in a double cleanse. I also use a cleansing foam in my morning shower to refresh my skin. As a huge Weleda fan, […]

Review of Weleda Nursing Oil

I’ve been breastfeeding Jonah for 14 months now. It’s so cosy and convenient and we love it, but it hasn’t always been easy. We struggled to get him latched on in the first few days and we were advised in hospital to use nipple shields. The shields worked really well and we were able to […]

BEST OF BABY PRODUCTS 2023 🌿 Hello again, my de BEST OF BABY PRODUCTS 2023 🌿 Hello again, my dear! I'm back after a long blogging break! How are you? I'm well, and the littles too. 💓 We've been happily settling into our new home, hardly a box in sight now 😂. I've been working on some of my very own skincare formulas, which is beyond exciting for me! Shares are coming soon. And on my blog, today's share is one I've been working on for some time - my best baby skincare products for 2023! We all want only the best for our baby’s skin – but with so much choice and conflicting advice about what to use, how do we pick only the best baby skincare products? And more, how can we choose brands we can rely on because they’re so well loved by parents? In this post, I'll reveal all - plus share the 20+ products from @weledauk, @nalasbabyuk, @everedenbrand, @nealsyardremedies, @littleaurelia, @greenpeopleuk, @inlight_beauty, @zoebeebeauty, @kokoso_baby, @suntribesunscreen & more that win my heart, hands down. Come and have a look! Link in bio. Now I'd love to hear your favourite baby care products? Let me know!
FAREWELL AGING 🌿 Ad. Hello again, my beauty fri FAREWELL AGING 🌿 Ad. Hello again, my beauty friend! Today’s post will be my last for a while, but it’s one I really hope you’ll love hearing about – it’s my review of Croma @cromaskincare Farewell Aging Skin Serum! Link to my blog in my bio. This target-specific serum aims to reduce the signs of ageing - firming and smoothing wrinkles with a blend of hyaluronic acid, madecassoside, marine ferment extract, and a plant-based alternative to retinol. Croma recognises that ageing is a natural process, and although it can’t be stopped, we can help our skin to maintain its youthful appearance. I’ve been using the serum for about a month and I noticed immediate benefits. First, my skin looks so plump and well hydrated. When I smile, I think my crow's feet around my eyes look lessened because of the extra hydration. The product works so well with SPF – I feel like the sun hasn’t touched me at all this year, I’ve had no sunburn or heat rash from the sun. I thank my SPF, of course, but also the soothing effects of this serum. I’d love to see how I get on with this serum as the weather gets colder, and I really appreciate both the short- and long-long term benefits of the serum. The packaging is so luxurious, it’s such a treat to use! On the downside, the serum is quite pricey at £109 for 30ml. I also tried the Croma Firming Laugh Line Mask - this sheet mask targets the nasolabial folds. It contains hyaluronic acid and pomegranate extract to tighten and hydrate the area, and is unfragranced. The most exciting ingredient for me is palmitoyl hexapeptide, a biomimetic peptide that the brand promises gives a firming effect and smoothes the appearance of wrinkles. Hop on over to croma.at or @cromaskincare to see the full range. Have you tried Croma?
NORDIC ROOTS 🌿 Hello again, my lovely. How's yo NORDIC ROOTS 🌿 Hello again, my lovely. How's your week going? Ad. Over on my blog today, link in bio, I'm revisiting a very special skincare line. It's the wonderful Green People @greenpeopleuk Nordic Roots! I'd love to share with you my thoughts on two products from the line – the juicy Apple Complex Moisturiser and the divine Marine Facial Oil. These pared back, yet super effective products take their inspiration from the people of Nordic countries and their love of simplicity, purity, and functionality. The Apple Complex Moisturiser contains apple cellular water, soothing oat, and brightening hops, and promises to restore, protect, and balance. The level of hydration and moisture is excellent. My skin is so comfortable and the effects last all day. No skincare routine is complete without a great facial oil. Green People describe their Marine Facial Oil as a nutritious elixir to boost collagen production for glowing skin. The oil I would describe as mid-weight – it's rich, but still light enough to work well for daytime. It has a beautiful silky feel and absorbs quickly especially on damp skin. This duo work so hard together to keep my skin well cared for. My skin feels so plump and my fine lines have lessened with regular use of the moisturiser and oil combo. The products work so well when using actives in the form of serums as they don't interfere with other products. I couldn't wish for more! Find out more @greenpeopleuk or greenpeople.co.uk or head over to my blog, link in bio, to learn more. Have you tried Green People?
JULY EMPTIES 🌿 How's your month gone? Are you e JULY EMPTIES 🌿 How's your month gone? Are you enjoying the summer holidays with your littles (or bigs)? We've had some nice days out and activities in the last week and we're off for a family weekend on Friday. 💚 Last month I said my empties posts would be no more – however, I’ve decided that since I have two more reviews to share with you next month, I will share one more empties post in between as usual. Then, I'll be taking a blogging break until October. I have a small but beautiful collection of empties this month, and today I’m sharing some I’ve not yet shared on my blog. There’s a gorgeous @monasterymade aloe and lavender hyaluronic acid serum, (ad) @elanskincarelondon sumptuous rose hand and nail balm, and a silky hair serum from @antoninbparis. I know you will love them! ANTI-HAIR FALL SERUM 🌿 Ad. Over on my blog toda ANTI-HAIR FALL SERUM 🌿 Ad. Over on my blog today, I'm reviewing Dr. Barbara Sturm @drbarbarasturm Anti-Hair Fall Scalp Serum from luxury beauty boutique SkinStation @skinstation_uk. Link in bio. This lightweight hair serum is a real workhorse. It aims to reduce hair loss, thicken weak hair, and soothe a sensitive scalp.  I fell in love with the ingredients: 💐 Camellia to deeply nourish the scalp and hair follicles. 💐 Larch, to reduce hair fall by stimulating hair’s growth phase. 💐 Provitamin B5 for its anti-splitting effect.  💐 Cationic hyaluronic acid to adhere to the scalp and hair fibres and continuously moisturise. My problem? 9 months postpartum and I still wasn't happy with the rate I shed hairs. I also have a dry, itchy scalp, and lots of short frizzy hairs that are growing back in. My hair was breaking easily, and I found a lot of hair in my brush and in the shower. Given the situation, I was super curious to try this serum!  I'm happy to report that I’ve seen a definite improvement in the elasticity of my hair. It feels stronger and more resilient. My hair feels less dry and the ends are better hydrated, especially between washes. There are fewer hairs in the shower now, and less breakage. My scalp is less fussy, and some patches of psoriasis have reduced. I feel like the serum protects my hair from heat and sunlight without leaving a trace in my hair, and I can’t wait to see how it fares over the summer holidays as we have more beach days and days out with my kids. In short – my hair feels thicker, bouncier, shinier, and better cared for – there’s so much to love! Many thanks to Skinstation for the opportunity to try the gorgeous serum! This online boutique specialises in results-driven skin- and hair-care, and only carries products subject to rigorous research and development. Visit their store at skinstation.co.uk or head over to @skinstation_uk. How do you look after your hair in summer?
EARTHS SECRET THRIVE SUPPLEMENT 🌿 Ad. Today I’m sharing my thoughts on Earths Secret @earths.secret Thrive supplement. This super charged turmeric supplement aims to increase energy levels and boost wellness. And let me tell you, I need all the help I can get 😂 The last few months have been a huge challenge. As you may know, we moved house last month with 3 little ones. So you can imagine my curiosity when Earths Secret approached me to try their supplement. KIDS TEEPEE & PLAY MAT 🌿 Well, 5 weeks after mo KIDS TEEPEE & PLAY MAT 🌿 Well, 5 weeks after moving in and we're still living out of boxes. 😂 However, one of the best things about unpacking was discovering this fabulous package from (ad) Petite Amélie @petiteamelie that our removals company put into storage by mistake! Whether it’s hiding from her siblings, relaxing with a book, or dreaming with her torch. It's beautiful, practical, and so much fun! 🌈 Baby Lydia, too, enjoys the soft baby play mat inside and outside of the teepee. The baby play mat makes the perfect companion to the teepee and works beautifully on its own, too. I love how Petite Amélie focuses on honest, high quality materials including organic cotton and FSC wood. The brand’s a great choice for eco-conscious parents wanting a more sustainable option. JONAH IS 6! 🌿 Hello again, my dear! Have you ha JONAH IS 6! 🌿 Hello again, my dear! Have you had a good week? I've been offline a bit, since this week my eldest son, Jonah, turned 6 years old. And today I'm revisiting a favourite brand of mine, and once again shining the spotlight on the superlative InLight Beauty @inlight_beauty! Lydia and I have been enjoying a duo from the brand that work so perfectly for mother and baby. 👩 Under Eye Revive brings vitality to my tired under eyes.
