February 2020 natural beauty empties

Welcome to my February 2020 natural beauty empties! I’m late posting my used up products again and while I don’t have many empties for February, they’re all natural beauty products I’ve really enjoyed using.

I’ve got anti-ageing face cream, illuminating vitamin C serum, nude lip gloss, gentle baby shampoo, soothing eye cream, zesty body oil, and a comforting buttermilk soap for the whole family.

D’Alchemy Age Defence Broad-Spectrum Remedy

This is a wonder of a cream, softening lines while deeply hydrating and I’m very sad to have emptied it! I reviewed it and other D’Alchemy moisturisers some months ago.

D’Alchemy Age Defence Broad-Spectrum Remedy

The cream is great for normal to dry skin and “provides intensive skin regeneration, lightens up discolouration, fills up wrinkles, and prevents loss of firmness and density” – great news for me – this year I seem to look a lot older. It’s sad for me, but inevitable at 40!

I’m a total believer in D’Alchemy because they have a clear anti-ageing vision and use ingredients to support that vision. Their range of skincare is a must for anybody with mature or sensitive skin.

I’d definitely buy this sumptuous cream again.

Lumen Vitae Radiant Glow Serum

I reviewed Lumen Vitae skincare a few months ago. This lovely vitamin C serum brightens skin with stabilised vitamin C and pomegranate stem cells.

Lumen Vitae Radiant Glow Serum

A definite repurchase once I’ve used others in my stash.

Lavera Glossy Lips in Hazel Nude

This is a lip gloss I highly recommend. I love everything about it – the finish is shiny and sparkly, the colour is a perfect nude, it’s long lasting and feels moisturising.

Lavera Glossy Lips in Hazel Nude

Great value for money and all Lavera makeup is certified organic and natural – see it in action in my review of Lavera makeup.

Enfance Paris Gentle Shampoo

Enfance Paris Gentle Shampoo is one of my top recommendations for baby shampoo! It’s so gentle and it smells beautiful. It’d make a really nice baby shower gift!

Enfance Paris Gentle Shampoo

It’s a little different in that its texture is just like water, so just a few drops applied directly to your child’s head will be enough. This bottle lasted us a long time, so it’s excellent value for money.

I probably wouldn’t buy this again since my eldest is out of the age range and needs shampoo that will get through his big mane of hair. Enfance does have a 3 – 8 years shampoo that I have my eye on for him!

Alteya Active Vitality Energizing Eye Cream

A nice little eye contour cream from Alteya Organics with hyaluronic acid, and marine & coastal plant extracts to moisturise and soften fine lines.

Alteya Active Vitality Energizing Eye Cream

I love the formulation of this cream, but I wouldn’t purchase it again because I prefer eye products housed in a closed pump bottle.

Burt’s Bees Mama Bee Body Oil

A gorgeous zesty body oil that’s so nurturing during pregnancy or the postpartum period. It was a wonderful gift to me from online wellness store Pure Skin Lab.

I’m not buying Burt’s Bees at the moment due to animal testing concerns.

Burt’s Bees Baby Bee Soap

Also a gift from Pure Skin Lab, this gorgeous buttermilk soap. Our entire family loved it!

Still not sure about their animal testing status so I’m on a no-buy from Burt’s Bees. It’s a shame because they do have nice products like this one.

Final thoughts on February 2020 natural beauty empties

That’s it for February empties! I hope you liked them. In March I’m introducing J Botanics – a wonderful natural beauty and baby brand with family values at its very core. I’ll also be sharing my initial thoughts on HoliFrog cleansers.

My schedule has been really loaded the last few months, so apologies to all brands who’ve sent me items to review.

By the way, did you catch up with my post about female fertility tests and what you can do to get a good picture of your hormonal health? It’s all very interesting!

What natural beauty products did you empty in February? Let me know in the comments!

Until next time!

Helen
