In this post, I’m reviewing Natralus My Little One Joyful Bubbles Bubble Bath. I love to try new brands. So when I was sent this lovely bubble bath by Mama Organica, I was pretty excited for Jonah to try it! Natralus is new to me. They’re an Australian brand who “offer naturally effective health and beauty products that you can trust to care for yourself and the people you love”. Sounds like a good fit! Their children’s range, My Little One, offers a selection of lovely natural products for children focusing on the beneficial ingredient papaya. Naturally, the whole range is free from petrolatum, parabens, sulphates, mineral oil, lanolin, and artificial fragrances or colours. It’s dermatologically tested, paediatrician approved, and Australian certified toxic-free. Disclosure: I received Natralus My Little One Joyful Bubbles Bubble Bath to review by Mama Organica. My views are honest and my own. Natralus My Little One Joyful…

Back in December I posted about us trying for a second baby, and I shared my natural fertility essentials. Well, I am overjoyed to announce we’re pregnant! I’m currently 25 weeks, and feeling very big and hot! And I can’t wait to share my second trimester essentials with you! Pregnancy is a time when many women look to clean up their beauty routine. Now you’re thinking about the precious little one growing inside, as well as yourself. But in the second trimester, you can relax a little as the chances of loss are lower and your baby’s organs and limbs are formed. That’s one less thing to worry about. And for me, that means introducing essential oils back into my routine. The second trimester of pregnancy is also a time when you need to take special care of yourself and your skin. Your belly and boobs are growing, your skin…
This post is a little bit different to my usual, but I’m itching to share our experience! I hope you enjoy my Little Baby Bum Live Show review! Have you heard of Little Baby Bum before? Some of my mama friends haven’t – some know it well. For those who haven’t, Little Baby Bum is YouTube’s number 1 educational children’s channel. It also appears on Netflix. Jonah has been a huge huge fan since he was about 18 months old – he’s 2 years old now. In fact, it was one of the first things he enjoyed to watch. What is Little Baby Bum? The cute 3D animations feature traditional nursery rhymes and original songs and centre around several loveable characters such as Mia, Jacus, Baa Baa, Daisy, Pig, Incy Wincy, Baby Panda, Robot, and Twinkle, to name just a few. One of the channel’s videos, The Wheels on the…
Let’s talk about a subject very close to my heart – how to nourish your child through cleaner beauty. As parents, we naturally want the best for our children, and there are so many choices to make. From food, clothing, toys, education, whether or not to vaccinate – the list is endless and often overwhelming, especially for first time parents. I feel the choices we make about what skincare products to use, and how we use them, are important. We can nourish our children through our skincare choices, and reduce the chemical burden we place on them. But wait, I hear you say – I don’t want more choices! As a busy parent, there’s no time to make lots of complicated or overwhelming ingredient checks. I hear you, honestly. Since I fell pregnant with Jonah in 2015, I’ve spent plenty of time scrutinising ingredients to ensure nothing harmful works its…
Are you thinking about cleaning up your beauty routine? You’re not alone! Almost 50 percent of consumers buy natural beauty products, and 8 percent want to, according to Yes To (source). If you’re in the 8 percent, or still unsure whether cleaner beauty is for you, I’d love to help you. By sharing my definition of cleaner beauty, I hope I can help you explore what cleaner beauty might mean to you. I’ll be looking at the reasons why you would want to clean up your beauty routine in the first place. Then, I’ll be sharing my favourite clean beauty brands who I completely trust, and who take the guesswork out of buying natural beauty products. I may be preaching to the converted, but if not then I really hope I can inspire you to spring clean your beauty shelves, especially if you’re pregnant, breastfeeding, or have children. What is cleaner…

In this post, I’m talking about creating a gentle toddler sleep routine, and I’ll be looking at some of the best natural products to help your toddler sleep. A sleep routine has nothing to do with strict bedtimes and sleep training, but is a calming way to help your toddler to relax and pick up on the cues that bedtime is near. Jonah’s biggest sleep association is, of course, the boob. But we’ve found it helpful to introduce a routine that he recognises and has come to expect. For instance, bath, nappy, massage, story, breastfeed, then bedtime. Natural bath and bedtime products can be a huge part of such a routine. Bathing, massaging, and enjoying familiar fragrances together creates a lovely bond between parent and toddler, and the practise is very comforting and soothing. I’m talking about massage and foot oils, pillow mists, and bath products to help calm and relax…
In this post, I’ll be taking a look at beautiful natural skincare brand Ezápé Naturals, and learning more about their gorgeous organic body care products. The range consists of 2 products: a luxurious body butter with rosemary, and a golden balm with chamomile and calendula. It was interesting to learn that the brand’s founder, Vanessa, invented the products to help treat her daughter’s eczema. I suffer with psoriasis which flares more often in winter, so I was particularly curious to see how these products could help improve my skin condition. I аm іn love wіth every рrоduсt thаt we hаnd-mаkе and sell. Mу business іѕ аll about mаkіng ѕаfе nаturаl аnd effective products fоr dry and sensitive skin ~ Vanessa Karikari What I love most about this range is its simplicity. There are few ingredients in the jar, and each ingredient is beneficial. There are no cheap fillers or unnecessary…
I was so pleased to be sent a copy of Sarah Ockwell-Smith’s new book, The Gentle Eating Book (£9.99, Amazon). I’ve followed Sarah and gentle parenting since Jonah was born. I’m going to apologise in advance for the length of this post, but reading this book has moved me in so many ways. I’ve found it to be very healing. I’m so excited to share it with you! Disclosure: I received a free copy of this book to review. My opinions are my own and unbiased. Sarah is a founder of the gentle parenting movement, which is a shift away from authoritarian parenting approaches of the past. Gentle parenting aims to be a child led, respectful, and mindful way to raise children. Sarah’s other books include Gentle Parenting, The Gentle Discipline Book, The Gentle Sleep Book, and The Gentle Potty Training Book, amongst others. The Gentle Eating Book follows similarly by…
