There’s also a soothing winter botanical mist, rosy cleansing gel, leave in conditioning spray, and more! Enjoy my March 2021 natural beauty empties! March 2021 natural beauty empties Kathleen Citrus Cheer Bubble Bath & Shower Gel This was my first Kathleen product. I loved it, and I’d really like to try more from Kathleen! It came in the LoveLula June 2020 Beauty Box. I used it mostly in the shower as I find it hard to make time for baths. It’s quite thin as a shower gel and the screw format bottle would definitely be easier in the bath, but oh my – the…

Welcome back, beauty lover! And Mother, if you’re reading this please stop reading now! I’m sharing gifts for you in my Mother’s Day gifting under £50! Mother’s Day is almost here, and it’s time to honour the beautiful human that brought me into this world. My poor mum has had a terrible few months. Not only is she stuck in this miserable lockdown with the rest of us, but since November she’s been in serious chronic pain, resulting in a diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis. This Mother’s Day, I really want to cheer her up and encourage her to put her feet up and relax with some beautiful goodies. I love a mix of high end and good value natural beauty treats. I picked up a luxury body care gift set, lipstick, sheet mask, toner, and a pretty-in-pink multitasking balm bar – all for under £50! Let’s take a look what…

But I loved it so much – it definitely deserves the top spot in my empties. Margot Elena creates such beautiful brands with artful designs that are easy to fall in love with. And it was certainly love between us, with the pretty design of the…

Welcome back, my dear friend! Today I’m focusing on vetiver skincare! Have you heard of vetiver before? You’ve probably seen vetiver oil mentioned in ingredients lists. Its INCI listing is vetiveria zizanoides. Vetiver is a perennial grass similar to other fragrant grasses such as lemongrass, citronella and palmarosa. It’s native to India, and its major producers include Haiti, India, Indonesia, and Réunion. (source: Wikipedia) Its essential oil is derived from its fibrous roots which are cleaned, dried and distilled to produce the oil. (source: Soil) What does vetiver smell like? To me, it’s warm, earthy, green, woody, and smoky. It’s a bit like a plant hug from some ancient tree in a damp forest. Vetiver is a traditionally masculine fragrance. Its grounding notes draw me in and comfort me; perfect in these times of uncertainty. Think you haven’t experienced vetiver before? You’re likely mistaken. Surprisingly, vetiver features in up to…
