Welcome back, beauty lovers! I was so excited to learn about Green People’s new Nordic Roots range! And earlier this month I was lucky enough to receive a complimentary bottle of Green People Nordic Roots Hyaluronic Booster Serum to try. Clean, conscious Nordic skin care. Take pleasure from the beauty of nature with pure hard-working skin care from Nordic Roots. According to Green People, their new collection is “inspired by the Scandinavian love of purity, simplicity and functionality”, and “delivers powerful results with a simple and synergistic blend of clean, honest ingredients”. Just recently there has been a big interest in Nordic skincare. Perhaps it’s the simplicity and the minimalist attitude of Nordic countries that appeals. And there’s a certain potency to northern botanical ingredients. Enduring harsh winters means they’re extra potent. Often they’re from wild harvested from sustainable sources. Formulations are simpler and contain natural ingredients that work together…

Hi beauty lovers! Have you heard of Plastic Free July? Plastic Free July is a movement to reduce the amount of plastic waste we produce. The challenge is to refuse single use plastics in July. As a family, we are mindful of the impact of our plastic waste and have been reducing single use plastics for some time. But there’s still huge room for improvement. The most offending single use plastics we still use as a family are without a doubt wet wipes and disposable nappies.
