Hello again, empties lover! And welcome to my September 2021 natural beauty empties! It’s been an interesting month where I tried to minimise trying too many new products and blogging about them, but failed! Sometimes it’s hard to slow down with the things I love! Our darling new baby is due in just 2 weeks, so I’m understandably wanting to wind things down. But on the other hand, Cara started at playgroup so I have a little extra time before bubs comes earthside. I have a modest amount of empties for you this month. I’ve been masking most nights through September to try and carve some relaxation time, plus use up some of my huge mask stash. So, in this month’s empties you’ll find a sumptuous honey mask, refreshing floral mist, anti-ageing facial oil, and more. My kids used up a creamy body lotion and body wash. Shall we take…

Welcome back, beauty lover! And welcome to my June 2020 natural beauty empties. What a month June was for content on my blog. I used up quite a few skincare products, too. June was about oils – 2 well-loved facial oils, plus a lash oil. I used up 2 day moisturisers, an Ayurvedic body wash, herbal conditioner, healing balm, and even a soothing aromatherapy candle! Plenty for the littles too, including a gentle dragon fruit children’s conditioner, soothing coconut scalp cream, and creamy calendula body wash. Are you ready to learn more about them? Let’s go! Welcome to my October 2019 natural beauty empties! It’s been an average month for empties this month. I’ve been busy testing all the beautiful lip balms for the Clean Beauty Awards 2019, which has been so much fun with a bit of testing routine thrown in. I’ll be posting my review of all the entrants in a separate post some time soon. There’s volumising shampoo, cream cleanser, hydrating face cream, body butter, pawpaw balm, green tea shower gel, plus 3 travel size products. Please feel free to ask me anything about the products, I’d love to hear from you. August 2019 natural beauty empties – empties much? This month, we used a mountain of products up! And the star product is a beautiful face oil that has brought me a daily glow since Cara’s birth. Natural beauty empties Myroo Skin Boost Serum This little beauty was so kindly gifted by the lovely founder of Myroo, to take in my hospital bag when I had Cara. I’ve enjoyed it almost every day since then! I love everything about it. The fragrance, the way it makes my skin feel, and the glow it brings. It contains rosehip oil plus borage, starflower, and raspberry seed oils to protect against wear and tear and help skin maintain its moisture levels. Rahua Voluminous…

In this post I share my May 2019 natural beauty empties. Weleda feature in most of my empties posts – they’re one of my favourite natural beauty brands. This month my favourite empty is their wonderful Age Revitalising Concentrate – it’s such a star product! Also from Weleda is their Skin Food Light, and creamy body washes. Other empties include bubble bath from Sophie the Giraffe, natural deodorant from Elsa’s, Odylique face moisturiser, tinted lip balm from Burt’s Bees, and a handful of samples. Enjoy my empties! In this post I’m sharing my review of the super-luxurious Rahua Voluminous Shampoo and Rahua Voluminous Conditioner. You should definitely read this post if you’re considering investing in this expensive duo. I first came across Rahua because my blogger friends posted reviews about their experiences with the products. Excited by the buzz, I bagged myself a sample. Intrigued by the brand, I then invested in Rahua’s fabulous natural hairspray. My hair is decidedly normal, but it’s fine and somewhat thinning. For the past 2 months, I’ve experienced some pretty severe postpartum hair loss. And due to stress my psoriasis has flared again, leaving my scalp irritated and dry. It’s a tricky situation, though, as overly moisturising formulations tend to leave me with greasy roots. I don’t like to wash my hair every day (lazy mama), so that’s always a consideration when choosing a shampoo and conditioner. What I really wanted…

Natural hairsprays are the answer to those looking to lead a cleaner lifestyle. We all know that hairspray is a must to set your style, increase its longevity, and control stray hairs. But many conventional hairsprays contain less than desirable ingredients for those trying to live a cleaner life. Read on to learn why natural hairspray is a better choice for you, your children and the environment, plus my top picks of natural hairsprays to choose from. Why you should choose natural hairsprays Most hairsprays add volume and texture and help to give your hair a finished look and feel. But the biggest concern with some conventional hairspray should be the safety warning it comes with, including irritation to skin and eyes, and drowsiness. Synthetic fragrance could also cause concern because its formula need not be disclosed by the manufacturer. Many natural hairsprays use naturally-derived fragrance. In some natural hairsprays…
