LoveLula is an online natural beauty retailer showcasing ethical, organic, and eco-friendly brands from around the world. Sadly now closed.

Another month has passed, and I’m really enjoying keeping track of the natural beauty and healthcare products our family uses each month. I hope you enjoy reading my March 2018 skincare empties. Boy has this month been tough! First, my external hard drive blew up which contained all my precious photos, and I stupidly hadn’t backed up for 2 years. All Jonah’s baby photos from my DSLR would’ve been lost. Luckily, it had a tiny bit of life in it, so we were able to copy the files onto a new drive. What a relief! I’ve learned my lesson and am now taking weekly backups. Secondly, Jonah picked up a stomach bug and was properly sick for the first time. We really weren’t prepared for it. Then we caught it too, so we were all poorly and feeling very sorry for ourselves. Now we’re looking forward to a healthy April…

My LoveLula March 2018 Beauty Box arrived in the middle of the month. We’ve been so poorly this last week, and I’m terribly behind on my blog. But I’m so excited to share this box with you! The March box contains 6 natural beauty products, 3 of which are full size. The LoveLula March 2018 Beauty Box is worth £43, but costs just £13.95 as a subscriber. Let’s take a look at what’s inside this month’s box. Disclosure: I received this box to review by LoveLula, but my opinions are honest and my own. Elsa’s Deodorant Of all the products this month, I was most excited to try this one. I already have one in my stash and I’m going to write a full review of it, because it’s awesome! I received the Ocean fragrance, which contains peppermint, tea tree, and patchouli. The patchouli is detectable, but the peppermint fragrance…

In this post, I’m talking about creating a gentle toddler sleep routine, and I’ll be looking at some of the best natural products to help your toddler sleep. A sleep routine has nothing to do with strict bedtimes and sleep training, but is a calming way to help your toddler to relax and pick up on the cues that bedtime is near. Jonah’s biggest sleep association is, of course, the boob. But we’ve found it helpful to introduce a routine that he recognises and has come to expect. For instance, bath, nappy, massage, story, breastfeed, then bedtime. Natural bath and bedtime products can be a huge part of such a routine. Bathing, massaging, and enjoying familiar fragrances together creates a lovely bond between parent and toddler, and the practise is very comforting and soothing. I’m talking about massage and foot oils, pillow mists, and bath products to help calm and relax…

Goodness, how has a whole month passed since my last skincare empties post? What with Valentine’s Day just gone, and Mother’s Day fast approaching, it’s been a very busy month for me and my blog. I hope you’ll enjoy reading my February 2018 skincare empties! I’ve gone through fewer products this month than last month. I’ve been focusing on using Jonah’s bath products in my shower, since his body wash tubes have been open since January last year, and aren’t smelling as perfect as they should. I also have some lovely new natural toddler sleep products to try for Jonah, so please do subscribe to my blog or follow me to keep up to date. So, let’s go through my February 2018 skincare empties. Full size natural skincare products Odylique Gentle Herb Shampoo I do like Odylique Gentle Herb Shampoo, and I appreciate what is good about it. As well as…

My LoveLula February 2018 Beauty Box arrived on Valentine’s day. What a lovely surprise to receive on my doorstep! I look forward to it so much each month. Let’s take a look at what was inside this month’s box. Disclosure: I received this box to review by LoveLula, but my opinions are honest and my own. Mádara Exfoliating Oil-to-Milk Scrub Of all the products this month, I was most excited to try this one. Good timing, LoveLula, since my current organic face scrub is about to run out. This scrub is absolutely brilliant, I love…

It’s a thing amongst beauty bloggers to share their empties each month. I’m always incredibly curious to learn what gorgeous natural skincare and beauty products other beauty bloggers have used up. So I thought I’d hop on the bandwagon by sharing my own January 2018 skincare empties! I appear to have consumed a lot of skincare in January. However, some of these products have been open since 2013 (I don’t adhere to use by dates). In January I made a conscious effort to use up old products, for several reasons. First, I’ve been sent new and lovely skincare products to test this month, and need to make room. Second, I’m now a LoveLula Accredited Blogger with an allowance each month. I have a burning desire to break out of my comfort zone to try new things! Third, I’ve been taking better care of myself and actually using the products in…

The LoveLula January 2018 Beauty Box is a real treat for luxury skincare lovers. Since my first LoveLula Beauty Box, I’ve been so excited to receive my second box. I can’t wait to show you what’s inside! There are 4 full-sized natural skincare products in the LoveLula January 2018 Beauty Box. With a total value of over £71, it’s amazing value for money, since it costs just £13.95 as a subscriber. What’s in the LoveLula January 2018 Beauty Box? Disclosure: I received this box to review by LoveLula, but all my opinions are honest and my own. MOA Fortifying Green Bath Potion I was so excited to receive this product! Cult MOA brand gives me all the feels. We already use their green balm for a multitude of things, so I was delighted to find the bath potion in my January beauty box. The design and materials of the packaging are…

It’s a source of amusement in the Little family that so many of our birthdays fall in January – that’s me, my brother, husband, auntie, and my father-in-law! Today, January 4th, it’s my blog’s turn, as it celebrates its first birthday! I hope you can join me in wishing happy birthday to Natural Beauty with Baby! Natural skincare and beauty has always been a passion – one I found myself even more interested in when I became pregnant. Once I was expecting, it was naturally more important to avoid harmful ingredients. When Jonah was born, the same applied to his skincare. I thought it would be a rewarding hobby to document mine and Jonah’s favourite natural skincare and beauty products. I wanted to shout these products from the rooftops! And so my blog was born. Let’s take a look at Natural Beauty with Baby through the months. January I started…

Ah, New Year’s Eve. It’s that time of year where people around the world take stock of the year that has been, and look towards the coming year with fresh hopes and dreams. It’s the same for me – I’ve been blogging almost a year now, and I’d love to share with you the best of Natural Beauty with Baby 2017. This post has been a lot of fun to write! It’s almost like an awards ceremony. So, let’s take a look at my best of! Blogger game-changer post LoveLula December 2017 Beauty Box review This post marked a huge turning point for my blog. It was a super-proud moment for me being accepted onto the LoveLula Accredited Blogger Programme. I really enjoyed my first LoveLula Natural Beauty Box. It’s also been a real blast talking with the LoveLulies in the LoveLula Natural Beauty Facebook group. In this group, we…

Since writing this post, Mia & Dom have closed their skincare brand. We don’t use lots of skincare products on Jonah, but one thing we do seem to get through is bath product. I will be honest – we don’t bathe Jonah every day unless he absolutely needs it. I’m a big believer in letting him get mucky to build up his microbiome. And, taking baths too often can dehydrate delicate skin. Jonah does love a bath though, so I thought we’d try this gorgeous Mia & Dom Organic Baby Bath Oil. This is the first time I’ve tried Mia & Dom, so let me introduce them: Mia & Dom is a lovely British brand making organic handmade skin care products for mothers and babies. The range was created by a mama whose son suffers with eczema – the Dom of Mia & Dom. Disclosure: I chose this product using credits…
