Hair Gain Gummies for postpartum hair loss

Hair Gain Hair Growth Gummies

Welcome back, beauty lover! Today, I’m sharing my review of Hair Gain Gummies!

Do you suffer from postpartum hair loss? After each of my pregnancies, my hair shed by the bucket-load! And after my third pregnancy I took positive action to slow my hair loss and stimulate new growth by finding a science-backed supplement suitable for breastfeeding mums.

I was thrilled to discover Hair Gain Gummies on Cult Beauty!

Hair Gain Gummies

These tasty chews promise to support the growth of normal hair while contributing essential vitamins and minerals, such as biotin, selenium, and zinc.

In fact, clinical studies undertaken by the brand show a 78% increase in hair growth and an 86% overall improvement in hair.

New mums have enough on their plates without having to worry about postpartum hair loss. But that’s what happens to a staggering 300,000 women a year who suffer from postpartum alopecia – hair loss in the first five months after giving birth.

Touted as the most advanced form of edible hair care, the gummies are backed by trichologists and contain a very interesting natural ingredient – AnaGain™ pea shoot derivative, made from organic pea shoots.

Hair gummies for breastfeeding

As a breastfeeding mum, it took a fair bit of research to find a hair growth boosting supplement that I feel safe using while nursing. The vegan gummies make a great choice for breastfeeding mums in the postpartum period.

Why?

Because they don’t contain vitamin A or MSM – two popular hair growth stimulant ingredients that might not be safe for your little one while breastfeeding.

As with all supplements, you should check with your doctor before using them if you’re breastfeeding. And please remember that supplements should never replace a healthy diet and lifestyle.

What causes postpartum hair loss?

Did you have a lustrous mane during pregnancy? I did! And that’s because while pregnant, my higher hormone levels kept my hair in its growing phase.

Once my baby arrived and my hormone levels dropped, out came all that hair that didn’t drop while I was pregnant. Big sad face.

Hair Gain Gummies ingredients

Glucose Syrup, Sugar, Modified Potato Starch, Organic Pea Shoot Powder, Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid), Acidity Regulator (Citric Acid), Natural Flavourings, Nicotinamide, Vitamin E (DL-Alpha Tocopheryl Acetate), Zinc Sulphate, Vegetable Oil (Coconut Oil, Canola Oil), Calcium Pantothenate, Colour (Copper Complex of Chlorophyllin), Glazing Agent (Carnauba Wax), Biotin, Sodium Selenate.

How do Hair Gain Gummies work?

They work in two ways. Firstly, they cover any nutritional deficiencies that may contribute to hair loss.

Secondly, they alter the hair’s growth phases. How?

Well, the clever pea shoot extract stimulates a protein responsible for shortening the hair loss phase of hair. Amusingly, the protein is called “noggin”.

Additionally, the pea shoot extract stimulates fibroblast growth factor-7 (FGF7), which helps create the best possible conditions for hair in its growth phase.

That’s a double whammy to you, hair shedding!

My experience using the gummies

I started eating Hair Gain Gummies on 26th January, at 3 months postpartum. I’ve just finished my third jar so I’ve been using them for long enough to give a considered opinion on whether they work.

The gummies come in this attractive plastic screw cap jar. There are 60 gummies in the jar. Take 2 per day to get the recommended dose.

Whilst improvements may be seen after 30 days, we recommend taking Hair Gain Gummies consistently for 3 – 6 months to ensure the super nutrients have adequate time to build up in the body.

These gummies are so delicious that I rarely forget to take them. The apple flavoured gummies are soft, chewy, and delicious. I love that they don’t have any chemical sweeteners, colourings, or flavours.

Do the hair gummies work?

I think the gummies slowed down the rate at which I shed hair during months 3 to 6 postpartum. However, I’m still shedding a small amount of hair at 6 months postpartum.

Now, at 6 months postpartum my hair is growing right back in. I can see this around my hairline. So although my hair is now thinner thanks to postpartum hair loss, it’s regrowing really quickly. For reference, my hair is fine and thin naturally due to my hair type and my age (42).

Even though I seem to have lost a lot of hair, I’m still happy with the thickness and ever-growing length of my hair. Just look how much it has grown since my haircut in January!

My nails are also growing longer and stronger, which is awesome!

I feel like I’ve done all I can to slow down my postpartum hair loss and stimulate new growth.

Taking the gummies every day reminds me of my thicker hair goals and makes me feel good! My hair is thickening every day and growing too, so I’ll keep buying the gummies as long as I can afford them.
