Hello again, my dear! And welcome to my April 2022 natural beauty empties.
Advert: this post contains references to PR gifted products. My views are honest and my own. May contain affiliate links.
April sees a rainbow of empties from me! We’re in the final stages of buying a new house, and the moving fever is real! I’m trying to use up a lot of old products since the bathroom in our new house is actually smaller (and I’m trying not to worry about that too much).
But, we’ll have a garden, so hooray for that!
This month some of my empties highlights include hair gummies for longer, thicker hair, a luxurious facial serum, a nourishing yogi body oil, and more.
Shall we learn more about these products?

Hair Gain Hair Gummies
The star product this month are these wonderful Hair Gain Gummies. My hair has grown so much since starting to use them in January.
Take a look at my full review for all the details and my progress photos.

Ellus & Krue EPI-gN Serum
What a luxurious antioxidant and anti-ageing serum, gifted by a dear friend.
My skin really thanked me for the combination of French lilac and niacinamide to even my skin tone and decrease redness. The serum, from New Zealand, contains curcumin to brighten and improve hydration.
oMoi Respire Nourishing Yogi Oil
I really don’t know why it took me so long to use this oMoi Respire Nourishing Body Oil – it is truly gorgeous. And its wonderful aromatherapy benefits saw me through my first run in with covid.
oMoi designed Respire to open the airways for clear breathing and mind. It works wonders for achy muscles too, thanks to its arnica and cypress essential oils.

Kiss The Moon Love After Dark Pillow Mist
Yep, I never gave this gorgeous Kiss The Moon Love Pillow Mist away for a Christmas gift. How could I?
It smells absolutely beautiful and really helps me to unwind before bed. My only complaint is that the atomiser on mine didn’t work. Not one to miss out, I decanted it into my own bottle.

Beauty Cleanse Skincare Carrot Algae Marine Drops
I can’t get enough of these wonderful drops. Of Beauty Cleanse Skincare’s two oils, this is best suited to my skin type and is probably my favourite. It’s so gentle, even when my skin is stressed out.
The wild-harvested carrot and rosehip oils pack a nutritional punch, and the upcycled ingredients make this a sustainable skincare option. Read my full review of Beauty Cleanse Skincare Carrot Algae Marine Drops.

Nom Nom Skincare Organic Baby Oil
My little Lydia loved this baby oil – her first baby oil. We used it as a massage oil, to treat cradle cap, and to moisturise and cleanse her skin.

This super mild body wash cleanses so gently without stripping and is fragrance free.
Lydia and I both love the ingredients, including soothing aloe vera and orange blossom.

VitalTouch Natalia Perineal Massage Oil
I bought Natalia Perineal Massage Oil for use in the final stages of pregnancy to try to avoid perineal tears. As it happened, I only had a minor tear that was probably brought about through having an episiotomy with my first baby.
This oil certainly seems to increase the elasticity of skin. I finished mine off as a body oil. It contains delicious plum oil and leaves skin beautifully soft and sweet smelling.

Pukka Womankind Premenstrual Supplement
I don’t really need to take these right now, since breastfeeding is suppressing my cycle. However, I found some in the cupboard and decided to finish them off. They seem to really boost my mood.
Shatavari, reishi, and turmeric help to support women’s natural hormonal balance. These seem to be selling out everywhere, unfortunately.
Typology Silver Fir Seeds and Green Tea Botanical Mist
I shared this botanical mist in my Typology summer essentials post.
It’s packed with antioxidants from green tea to protect the skin, and is so refreshing.

Typology Zinc PCA + Nettle Scalp Treatment
While not suited to my scalp type, I appreciate the comfort this Typology Hair Serum brought to my scalp.
This is definitely a scalp serum to try if you suffer with an oily scalp.

Scrubbingtons Bug Off Hand Sanitising Foam
We love Scrubbingtons in this house. These kid empowering hand cleansers do an amazing job at letting kids get themselves clean.
This giant refillable bottle lives in our bathroom and our kids love a quick pump to kill any nasties.
Weleda Grenade Natural Perfume
God giveth, God taketh away. But it’s so hard to say goodbye, especially to this gorgeous Weleda Grenade Fragrance. It’s one of a handful of fragrances I can tolerate whilst pregnant.
Alas no longer available, but here are some alternative natural perfumes for pregnancy.
Weleda Deodorants
Butterwhips Planted Feet Scrub
This gorgeous scrub is the perfect treat for soft and well cared for feet.
Pumice and organic coconut sugar gently exfoliate rough skin, while the oils create an occlusive barrier on the feet. The scents of peppermint and black spruce are so refreshing. Victoria is such a lovely lady, do go and check out all of her face and body butter whips and scrubs.
UpCircle Coffee & Citrus Face Scrub
I love the wonderful ethos behind UpCircle – take ingredients that would otherwise be discarded, and upcycle them into skincare. I bagged this from Persephone Beauty.
The face scrub uses spent coffee grounds set in a base of nourishing oils and butters. Caffeinated skincare increases blood flow to the skin for a healthy glow. However, there is no way I can use this as a scrub for my face – it’s just too harsh. However, it makes an excellent body scrub for soft, smooth skin.

Green People Eyeliner Pencil
This eyeliner has been in my stash so long. It’s time to say goodbye as I can no longer sharpen it.
As kohl eyeliners go, it’s on the hard side – so has good staying power, but it’s less blendable.
Green People Eyeliner
Lavera Soft Eyeliner Pencil
On the other hand, this rich eyeliner from Lavera is super soft and smudgey.
It’s a fantastic choice for lining the waterline of the eyes. You can read my review of Lavera makeup for all the details.
Lavera Eyeliner
Lavera Butterfly Effect Mascara
My favourite mascara for a long time. Well pigmented, easy to apply, and with good staying power.
I love how affordable Lavera makeup is, and great quality too.

Pixi Glow Mud Cleanser
While I don’t consider Pixi to be a natural brand, this cleanser has so many lovely natural ingredients including aloe, chamomile, and avocado.
The unique mud-like texture and interesting fragrance are quite unique, too. Not to mention the glow thanks to 5% glycolic acid.

Briogeo Avocado + Kiwi Mega Moisture Superfood Mask
Briogeo Avocado + Kiwi Mega Moisture Mask came in my Cult Beauty Best of 2021 Goody Bag. I love the idea behind and the ingredients inside this delightfully scented hair mask.
Unfortunately, it performed less adequately than my usual conditioner. I’d like to try more from Briogeo, though!

The Perfect V VV Cream Gentle Exfoliator
This came in a LoveLula Beauty Box ages ago. It’s such a cool idea to create a skincare line to take care of the bikini area. However, I find this level of care too much for me personally.
The ingredients are super clever though, including salicylic acid to ensure a smooth bikini line with no ingrown hairs.
Mia & Dom Bath Oil
Sadly Mia & Dom are no longer with us, which is a shame since they made some lovely mother and baby products.
If you’re in the market for a good baby bath product I’d recommend something from Weleda.

Amika Flash Instant Shine Mask
I really enjoyed this, and it contains some hair friendly ingredients like amino acids and sea buckthorn. On the downside it contains too many synthetic ingredients – some I’m uncomfortable with over the long term, such as benzophenone-4.
It did leave my hair soft, swishy, shiny, and sweet smelling, though.
