Welcome back, my empties lover – and happy Halloween to you! It’s time for my October 2020 natural beauty empties. I love October because so many exciting things happen in nature – it is a time of shedding the old to make way for the new. My skincare too, changes with the season. I use a more deeply hydrating moisturiser, and pull out my cosiest of balms.
You will find this reflected in my empties. There’s a beautiful natural deodorant – my favourite yet in fact, a deeply hydrating night cream, nourishing moringa cleansing oil, SPF20 day cream, and more.
For little people, there’s fun throwable hand and face foam, and a sleepy time foot oil for bedtime relaxation.
Fall in love with my October empties!

Elsa’s Detox Natural Deodorant
Elsa’s Detox Deodorant is their latest offering, mine came in the LoveLula June Beauty Box. It’s my favourite empty this month, and one special deodorant! In fact, it’s my favourite natural deodorant to date. Why? It’s so effective! Like, job interview effective. It lasts all day, and it never irritates. It makes me feel confident and cared for!

As their most expensive deodorant, it’s a real treat for your underarms! And why not? It’s perfect for the whole family, from tweens to adults.
As for the formula, Elsa’s added activated charcoal and bentonite clay for a deodorant that doesn’t just deodorise, but detoxes and feeds your body with magnesium and other vitamins, minerals, and fatty acids. The fragrance of grapefruit, ginger, and neroli makes for a heavenly experience.
We finally created a formulation that is 100% effective, deodorises, leaves no stains, smells amazing and was gentle enough for children to use. While using no synthetics, toxic chemicals or animal by products.
And just as special as the deodorant, is the brand itself. Elsa’s was born from founder Henrietta’s need to protect her daughter from the harsh substances in conventional deodorants in a product that sits close to the lymph nodes, breasts, and heart.
I’m a complete Elsa’s fan girl and recommend them constantly. You have to try it yourself to believe it! Go and see elsas.co.uk or Elsa’s Instagram to learn more and view the range.

Lavera Basis Sensitiv Regenerating Night Cream
I’m so sweet for Lavera – one of my first natural beauty brands. Reliably effective and certified organic too. I tried out a couple of Lavera products earlier this year and was totally bowled over by this night cream!

The rich and soothing night cream instantly plumps my skin and lasts through the night for a comfortable wakening. It’s great value for money and is one of my favourite night creams!

J Botanics Strip Back Cleansing Oil
This cleansing oil from family brand J Botanics won me over right away! Not only does it boast some seriously skin-loving ingredients, like moringa, it does a fantastic job of melting away the day’s makeup and grime.

It rinses off perfectly to leave my skin soft and comfortable. I really need to try more from this lovely brand!
Suntribe Mineral Day Cream SPF20
After trying Suntribe Children’s Sunscreen I rushed out to buy their day cream. I was impressed by this water-free formulation. It’s ever so gentle and lightly tinted so it gives a little coverage with no glaring white cast.

Reef safe and plastic free, it has a lot of plus points and is a definite repurchase.

Scrubbingtons Hand & Face Foam refill pouch
My whole family love Scrubbingtons Hand & Face Foam! It’s so much fun and empowers children to get themselves clean.

Gentle, natural, smells great, recyclable and refillable! We love it!
100 Acres Rose & Lavender Bubble Bath
The name of this bubble bath doesn’t tell the full story of the beautiful and complex natural fragrance it brings to bath time.

I’ve had this one open for a while, and it was so good to finally use it up! I’m curious to try more from 100 Acres.

Dafna’s Eye Care
This is a fabulous eye cream! It lightly hydrates and softens wrinkles and fine lines while being ever so gentle on the delicate eye area.

Dafna’s promise that the lotion offers a natural skin tightening effect in the eye contour, reduces dark circles, puffiness, and fine lines. Definitely one to try!

Mummy Loves Organics Sleepy Feet Organic Foot Oil
This is one of Cara’s favourites! She loves rollerballs, and will happily rollerball her own and Jonah’s feet before bed.

With mandarin, chamomile, and lavender, it’s very relaxing and is a lovely product to help build a bedtime routine.

Urban Veda Purifying Exfoliating Facial Polish
I’m not into very scrubby scrubs, and I would say this falls into that category. But I do love this Urban Veda polish when my skin is suffering with hormonal breakouts.

With pumice, cold-pressed neem, and spearmint, it scrubs well and the fragrance is so refreshing. It leaves my skin soft and smooth. Just be gentle with it!

Balm Balm Face Balm x 2
Balm Balm make some beautifully soft melting balms that take great care of skin. The face balm is fragrance free and formulated with shea butter, sunflower oil, beeswax, jojoba, and calendula for a pure and natural experience.

The face balms can be used anywhere, and I use them for my whole family.

Pevonia Rapid Restore Lip Balm
A lovely lip balm that I reviewed for CertClean’s Clean Beauty Awards 2019.

It’s delicately fragranced with rose and keeps lips soft and supple with some lovely ingredients like shea butter, olus oil, and vitamins C and E.

Pukka Womankind Premenstrual
This isn’t my typical review but I wanted to add it in because I’ve found it so helpful! It’s a herbal supplement to ease PMS symptoms with shatavari, reishi, turmeric, and more.

In the 5 days run up to my period I was less depressed and irritable. We’ll have to see how I get on with longer use.

Anita Grant Neroli Rose Dry Oil Spray sample
A gorgeous oil that’s so fragrant. I’d love to get a full size bottle of this, but I have to use up some other oils in my stash first.

Anita Grant is well worth checking out for all kinds of amazing ingredients.

Butterwhips Perfectly Pure Apricot sample
I really love all the balms I’ve tried from Butterwhips. I recently reviewed their Planted Feet Balm which is a total winner for me!

Butterwhips Apricot is an unfragranced balm that’s ever so gentle for mums and babies.
Bee Balmy Baby Balm sample
Another lovely free sample! It’s a heavenly blend of UK grown botanicals, oils, and beeswax that protect and soothe.

We really enjoyed Bee Balmy Baby Balm and it’s definitely one to check out for your changing bag!
Urban Veda Reviving Renewal Night Cream mini
This came in the LoveLula September Beauty Box. It’s a lovely night cream that promises to boost elasticity with rosehip, evening primrose, jasmine, and borage.

Although aimed at ageing skin, it’s not as rich as my usual night cream. I think it would be great for younger, combination, or oily skins.

Antipodes Baptise H2O Ultra-Hydrating Water Gel sachet
Last but not least, this gorgeous sample from Antipodes – one of their latest offerings. It came in the LoveLula October 2020 Beauty Box.

This cream worked so well for me, but I don’t think I’d buy full size due to it containing sodium acrylates copolymer – a micro-plastic ingredient.
