I was so happy to be approached by Urban Veda skincare. I’d already been introduced to a product from the brand in the LoveLula beauty box. Naturally I jumped at the chance to try a selection of this vegan, cruelty-free skincare range. Urban Veda skincare is based on the principles of Ayurveda. For the uninitiated, Ayurveda is an ancient Indian philosophy for health and wellbeing. Ayurveda defines 3 doshas, or types from which we are comprised. The types are vata, pitta, and kapha. This skincare aims to identify the characteristics and needs of your skin by these doshas. The brand was founded six years ago by Sheilesh Shah, whose father was an Ayurvedic practitioner.
