The LoveLula April 2018 Beauty Box is my favourite LoveLula box yet. I can’t wait to tell you all about it!
The April box contains 7 natural beauty products, 4 of which are full size. The LoveLula April 2018 Beauty Box is worth over £65, but costs just £13.95 as a subscriber.
It’s perfect for spring, with so many refreshing products to clean up your skin and help you feel renewed ready for the new season.
Let’s take a look at what’s inside this month’s box.
Disclosure: I received this box to review by LoveLula, but my opinions are honest and my own.
Balm Balm Little Miracle Rosehip Balm
This is a new product from Balm Balm. I’m already a big fan of many of their natural skincare products, as they’re so clean, simple, and effective.
Little Miracle Rosehip Balm is a cross between Little Miracle Rosehip Serum and their 5-ingredient base balm. It has some really lovely ingredients like rosehip, jojoba, and borage oils, plus calendula, frankincense, rose geranium, juniper, and mandarin.
I’ve found there are so many ways to use this nourishing balm. I use a tiny amount on my cleansed face under my moisturiser. I also apply it to damp skin in extra dry places like my elbows and knees.
With such clean ingredients this is a really nice addition to my skincare routine.

Inika Cream Eyeshadow in Champagne
I was so excited to find this in my box. I’ve heard how good Inika makeup is, but this is my first time trying their eyeshadow.
The Champagne shade is very subtle and adds a beautiful sparkle without being too bling.
I like the squeezy tube applicator which avoids dipping fingers in to a pot.
This will work so much better on me once I have a tan, and we’re off to Ibiza in two weeks, so hurray for holidays – and I’ll see how it works once I have a bit more colour!

Dr Botanicals Coffee Superfood Renewing Facial Exfoliator
Another product new to LoveLula, and another item that I really love! It smells like fresh coffee, which is a nice boost if you’re using it in the morning.
Why coffee though? The scrub contains coffee oil extracted from the green coffee bean plant. This oil is rich in skin-loving antioxidants and rich fatty acids to nourish the skin.
The scrub uses walnut shell powder to buff away old skin cells for brighter and softer skin.
My skin feels lovely and soft after using it, and it’s gentle enough not to cause irritation. The packaging is kind of cute too!

Dr Botanicals Kale Superfood Nourishing Day Moisturiser
Yet another new product to LoveLula. This is why I love this box! As a subscriber, I’m lucky enough to try all the new natural beauty products first!
I like this cream. It feels rich enough to keep my skin hydrated, without being too rich for my combination skin.
But how does applying kale to the skin help? Not just an amazingly healthy green to eat, kale helps protect and nourish the skin because it contains vitamin C and E.
The moisturiser also contains hydrating shea and cocoa butters.

Mádara 3 Step Skin Boost
I love this trio of skincare samples from Mádara. There’s a lot to love about this brand, and I own and use several of their skincare products already.
There are 3 products to try in this sample pack. A cleansing milk, face mask, and day cream.
Step 1, Mádara Cleansing Milk, may well become a new favourite of mine. I do love oil and balm cleansing, but I seem to always come back to cleansing milks – and this is one of the best I’ve tried.
It’s quite thick and binds really well to eye makeup, which can then be easily removed with a few sweeps. It rinses off with ease, and my skin is soft and hydrated afterwards – with no signs of tightness.
On to step 2, and the reputation of Mádara Brightening AHA Peel Mask precedes it, since I’ve already heard some amazing things about this mask.
It’s more of an exfoliator than a mask, since it uses lactic and fruit acids to take away the top layer of old dull skin.
If you want baby-smooth skin, this is the product! It’s brilliant. I’d like to try this one again.
Finally, in step 3, Mádara Smart Antioxidants Fine Line Minimising Day Cream promises to neutralise up to 90% of free radical damage to keep skin firm and radiant.
I absolutely love the smell of this cream! It smells so green and fresh. It’s wonderfully moisturising and didn’t trigger any breakouts for me. It also contains some lovely ingredients such as fern, lichen, and moss. No wonder it smells so green!

How lovely! I bought their Christmas cracker in November last year, which was amazing. It featured many of their most popular products, such a nice introduction. I’ve never tried the Frankincense balm, it sounds lovely, so I will have to give it a go!
