Welcome to my October 2019 natural beauty empties! It’s been an average month for empties this month. I’ve been busy testing all the beautiful lip balms for the Clean Beauty Awards 2019, which has been so much fun with a bit of testing routine thrown in. I’ll be posting my review of all the entrants in a separate post some time soon. There’s volumising shampoo, cream cleanser, hydrating face cream, body butter, pawpaw balm, green tea shower gel, plus 3 travel size products. Please feel free to ask me anything about the products, I’d love to hear from you. October 2019 natural beauty empties Rahua Voluminous Conditioner I reviewed this luxury Rahua Voluminous conditioner a few months ago. I enjoyed it to the last drop. It does a good job at moisturising hair without weighing it down. Rahua Voluminous Conditioner Buy Now – £36 at Rahua Botanicals Nourish Cream Cleanser…

There’s so much excitement for my blog this month! And I have quite a few empties for you, too. The biggest news is that I’ve been selected as a judge for the 2019 Clean Beauty Awards. More on that in a later post. For now let’s get stuck into my September 2019 natural beauty empties! There’s floral water, cream bath, postpartum products, sunscreen, exfoliator, body moisturiser, deodorant, toy sanitiser, bath salts, and several travel and sample size products. I hope you enjoy them, and do let me know if you have any questions about the products or my routine. Natural beauty empties Alteya Organics Chamomile Water We all love this chamomile water. It’s like summer in a bottle and we didn’t want it to end! It was a great addition to the April 2019 LoveLula Beauty Box! Alteya make such good floral waters, some of the best. Chamomile is calming,…

For the last few weeks I’ve been using a wonderful face oil that’s quite different to other face oils I’ve used until now. Introducing Beauty Sleep Elixir – Beuti Skincare’s flagship face oil. Beauty Sleep Elixir has a natural blend of 14 plant-based oils, including a Caribbean coral extract, which is a powerful anti-inflammatory as it neutralises the enzyme responsible for skin ageing, plus a sandalwood nut kernel oil to help prevent collagen and elastin break down. The Duchess of Cambridge used it during her hospital stay while having her second son (source). As most mamas know, going through labour along with a stay in hospital can certainly upset your skin. Clever Kate knows that a face oil will help her look and feel better. This is especially good for her given the scrutiny the royal receives when she steps out of hospital! PS, if you’re looking for other hospital…

In this post, I’m really happy to share a unique and exciting multi-purpose superfood serum-in-oil with you. Mean Green Superfood Drops by Beauty Cleanse Skincare are a beauty must-have. Just like a Mean Green Superfood Smoothie full of fruits and veg can give a burst of essential nutrients to the body, these beauty drops will give a similar boost to the skin and hair making them instantly nourished, revived and refreshed. Before we take a deep-dive into this product, and since this is my first time trying Beauty Cleanse Skincare, let’s take a quick look at this quirky London-based brand. Beauty Cleanse Skincare aims to simplify complicated beauty routines without compromising on results. Part of the brand ethos is to use clean beauty products and live a healthy, ethical life through plant-based options. Although I’m not vegan myself, it’s certainly a mindset I support as I was vegetarian/vegan for 10…

August 2019 natural beauty empties – empties much? This month, we used a mountain of products up! And the star product is a beautiful face oil that has brought me a daily glow since Cara’s birth. There’s also shampoo, balms, 2 rose waters, face cream, body lotion, essential oil, and a serum, along with a handful of travel and sample sizes. I hope you enjoy my empties. Natural beauty empties Myroo Skin Boost Serum This little beauty was so kindly gifted by the lovely founder of Myroo, to take in my hospital bag when I had Cara. I’ve enjoyed it almost every day since then! I love everything about it. The fragrance, the way it makes my skin feel, and the glow it brings. It contains rosehip oil plus borage, starflower, and raspberry seed oils to protect against wear and tear and help skin maintain its moisture levels. Rahua Voluminous…

In this post I’m excited to share my thoughts on a special skincare brand and 3 of their wonderful products. Introducing, D’Alchemy skincare. D’Alchemy skincare offers organic holistic skincare to support the ageing process. The brand really tries to address the needs of ageing skin with breakthrough natural and organic anti-wrinkle skincare. The products focus on the most troublesome aspects of ageing, creating spectacular effects for the skin. Indeed, many of the key ingredients have been backed by scientific studies. From natural hydrosols and pure essential oils to hundreds of potent plant active ingredients – we explore the unique power of each ingredient using advanced discoveries and earth-friendly science. I was really excited to be approached by the brand to try their wonderfully age-supportive natural beauty products. It’s so important to choose a brand who aligns with one’s own values and needs, especially if those needs are anti-ageing. This brand…

It’s time for my July 2019 natural beauty empties! I do love sharing my empties. There’s something so satisfying about finishing a natural beauty product to the last drop. I love recapping it all, and I hope you might find something you like amongst the treasure trove of items. I’ve used up quite a few products this month. I had a huge sort out of my stash which was very rewarding. We also bought new bathroom storage, which prompted a resurfacing of some close-to-empty products to finish up. My favourite product this month is a special skin treatment called bakuchiol. It’s an amazing replacement for retinol that’s safer for mamas who are pregnant or breastfeeding. There’s also a luscious balm, rose water, adult and kids toothpaste, epsom salts, face mask powder, body lotion, and face cream and mineral powder samples. I hope you enjoy my empties, and if you have…

As a mum to four little ones, I’ve used a lot of natural sunscreen for kids! From babies, to bigger kids – all tried and tested. And in this post I’m sharing the natural sunscreen for kids we’ve used the most. Step this way if high street and chemist store sunscreens irritate your children’s skin! My favourite natural sunscreens for kids are those that can be used for both adults and children. Packing just one tube saves valuable space in my bag, and a gentle mineral sunscreen works just fine for grown ups too! Peace of mind I’m using the gentlest sun protection there is. Oh, summer. We look forward to it all year, and then it’s over in a flash. But what memories we take away! Happy children playing on the beach, meals together, and whiling the day away lounging in comfy hammocks, if we’re lucky! But with extra UV…
