It’s been 6 months since I last reviewed the LoveLula Beauty Box, although I’ve still enjoyed receiving the odd box. I took a break to relax in the later stages of pregnancy and of course settle in with our new baby. But this month I’m back with it and so glad to share my LoveLula February 2019 Beauty Box review!
February’s beauty box contains 5 full-size natural beauty products. It’s worth £60, but costs just £14.95 as a monthly subscriber.
Let’s jump straight in and take a look at the natural beauty products.
Advert: I received this LoveLula Beauty Box to review by LoveLula. My views are honest and my own.
PHB Ethical Beauty Gentle Moisturiser
PHB skincare has recently undergone a transformation, with new products in redesigned packaging and glass containers. I like PHB although I did suffer a reaction to one of their cleansers, which is rare for me. But I was delighted to discover this hypoallergenic fragrance-free moisturiser in the box.
Although I don’t consider my skin sensitive, it’s nice to give it a break from essential oils every now and again. This moisturiser is really gentle but at the same time effective. Apricot and shea butter leave skin hydrated and protected, while aloe soothes any irritation.
This is definitely a moisturiser to check out if you have allergies or sensitivities, or prefer fragrance-free skincare. If you’re pregnant and worried about essential oils, this moisturiser is a good choice.

Balm Balm Fragrance Free Face Balm
I already own a tube of this fragrance-free face balm, and the tea tree version too. This one is ideal for very sensitive skins since it contains no essential oils.
The formulation contains just 5 healing ingredients to soothe and nourish even the most delicate of skin – including babies. I love that it contains anti-inflammatory calendula – such a skin care hero.
This is a fantastic natural balm with so many uses, and given it’s suitable for the whole family it’s lovely to keep to hand, especially in winter.

Walden ‘A Gentle Rain’ Natural Perfume Oil
Oh it’s so exciting when Walden adds a new fragrance to their beautiful, elegant range! This one is described as a luxurious fragrance that grows with a blend of oak moss, labdanum and patchouli. The rollerball format is great if you like to avoid alcohol-based formulas.
To me, this fragrance is somewhat masculine, but perfectly unisex. It really is a very handsome fragrance, and for me it evokes a green and mossy forest after the rain.
Definitely get a sample of ‘A Gentle Rain’ if you love deep, woody, earthy fragrances.

Seascape Island Apothecary Soothe Sleep Oil
What a beautiful find in this month’s box! Described as a ‘lullaby in a bottle’, this sleep oil is perfect rolled on to pulse points just before bed.
With pregnancy-safe essential oils of lavender, bitter orange flower, and mandarin, it’s so soothing and relaxing to deeply inhale this fragrant oil as part of your bedtime routine. It’s also a perfect de-stress oil for those moments when you need support, not just at bedtime.

Crazy Rumors Hot Cocoa 100% Natural Lip Balm
A lip balm is always a welcome winter product, and I love this quirky vegan lip balm brand from the USA. Their lip balms are 100% natural, clean, tasty, and ethical.
This Hot Cocoa lip balm is so chocolately and yummy. I really love how it applies too, it feels very silky and lightweight and doesn’t drag in cool temperatures. I’m really enjoying it!
With flavours like French Vanilla, Orange Creamsicle, and Amaretto, I really do need to try more from Crazy Rumors.

Final thoughts on February 2019 LoveLula Beauty Box
Another fantastic box from LoveLula with some carefully chosen items for winter, and some great introductions to new products from PHB and Walden.
I love how clean the products are in this month’s box. There are a few natural ingredients I completely avoid in my skincare due to breastfeeding which often pop up in the box, but I feel completely comfortable with all the ingredients this month.
There’s a whopping 25% off the brands featured in the box so if you’d like to splash out on more items from a brand, you can make a good saving.
