February 2019 natural beauty empties

Hello, spring! I’m so pleased to see the back of February. We’ve had flu, colds, and viruses all winter. It’s time to welcome in the sunlight and fresh air! And in this post, I’m bringing you my February 2019 natural beauty empties.

I’ve had a busy month trying lots of new products, and so many of my everyday products have been emptied.

This month I share a well-rounded mix of shampoo, Castile soap, deodorant, body oil and butter, exfoliator, and wipes. I hope you enjoy learning about them!

Tabitha James Kraan Organic Hair Cleanser

Tabitha James Kraan’s hair care system has changed the way I care for my hair. Instead of washing the life out of it, this gentle hair cleanser respects and nourishes it.

The Castilian Soap Company Natural Castile Soap

I’m so sad this is now empty, as I really loved using it. With 2 little ones, I wash my hands an awful lot. And I just love how clean and sweet smelling they are after using this.

Do go and read my full review of The Castilian Soap Company’s Lavender Soap to learn my thoughts on it.

Elsa’s Organics Sweet Clementine Creme Deodorant

I’m a big Elsa’s deodorant fan, but there’s always the concern of plastic packaging. This cute metal tin makes a great alternative. It comes with a wooden spatula so there’s no need for fingers in the tin. It’s just as effective as Elsa’s in a stick, and there’s also a lemon version to try which is on my wish list.

Ezápé Naturals Body Oil

Well, this is a very exciting product – although I’m not going to say anything about it just yet, hence the blurred out ingredients.

Butterwhips Delightfully Delicate Body Butter

Delightful indeed! My needy winter skin truly appreciated this soft melting balm with its gorgeous fragrance of ylang ylang and tea tree.

Butterwhips Delightfully Delicate Body Butter

One to check out if you love organic whipped balms – and frankly, who doesn’t?

Mádara Exfoliating Oil-to-Milk Scrub

This is one of my favourite exfoliators – it arrived in LoveLula’s February 2018 Beauty Box.

Mádara Exfoliating Oil-to-Milk Scrub

It’s gentle but effective and has an interesting oil to milk texture. My skin feels so good after use. It also smells a bit like Bailey’s liqueur, sans alcohol. Yum.

Eco Cosmetics Moisturising Shampoo

My husband has been wrestling the last drops out of this one. We both love it – great value for money, squeaky clean hair, and fab moisturising ingredients like olive and mallow.

Neal’s Yard Remedies Organic Facial Wipes

I chose these wipes to take in my hospital bag. They came in very handy at hospital and the first few weeks after Cara’s birth.

Neal's Yard Remedies Organic Facial Wipes

I’d love to try more Neal’s Yard Remedies products – they’re such a gorgeous brand.

Kiehl’s Rare Earth Deep Pore Cleansing Mask

I don’t consider this a natural product although reading the ingredients list, it could be considered so. I absolutely love the effects of this mask, but it has downsides. First, it makes my eyes water. Second, it contains phenoxyethanol, which I avoid using most of the time and especially while breastfeeding.

Kiehl's Rare Earth Deep Pore Cleansing Mask

I’m actually tossing it out because it’s 4 years out of its use by date. Shocking! And now I’ve found some beautiful natural face masks to use instead, I’m a happy customer.

Sophie the Giraffe Baby Face Cream

We love Sophie the Giraffe skincare and this face cream has been treating dry patches on both my little ones’ skin during the cold winter weather.

There are other nice items in the Sophie the Giraffe range, so do see my full review to learn about them.

Dr. Bronner’s Hemp Baby Unscented Castile Soap

Love this stuff, it’s great for all kinds of skin care and cleaning. I use it in my pregnancy foot scrub DIY which is handy for cramping, swollen feet.

Dr. Bronner's Hemp Baby Unscented Castile Soap

We also use it to clean baby’s breastfeeding kit as it’s unscented and has super-clean ingredients.

  1. Thank you for sharing these beauties! As you know I love MÁDARA! And I want to try more from Eco cosmetics and I need to finally try Neals Yard! The only reason why I don’t use Kiehls is because they are not considered cruelty free (continue to sell in mainland china). Such a shame! The other brands are new to me so I am excited to learn more! Love Kari
