Welcome back, skincare lover! Today I have a gorgeous share for mamas, papas, and their little ones. It’s my Evereden Baby review! Founded by doctors who are also mothers, this New York line is taking the healthy skincare world by storm with its carefully-formulated family focused products. Made by moms in medicine. Higher standards for family skincare. The Evereden philosophy creates formulas that go above and beyond the highest standards in safety, quality, and care. Think 5 ingredient baby oil, gentle family shampoo, all-in-one balm for mum and baby, and protective nappy rash cream – and you have everything you need to take great care of your whole family’s skin. It’s no wonder Evereden is a brand that speaks to my heart! Along with a list of banned controversial ingredients, Evereden focuses on the goodness of plant based skincare with ingredients like sunflower seed oil, vitamin C rich kakadu plum,…

Welcome back, my dear friend! Today I’d love to talk about a beauty brand close to my heart – it’s the wonderful Sakrid Beauty! Sakrid brings us clean and conscious skincare and haircare that’s organic, vegan, and sustainable. The founder of Sakrid, Natalie Elliott, is a true inspiration to women and mums. Not only is she the founder of the clean beauty line, she also talks weekly on her radio show, The Natural Beauty Show – hosted by UK Health Radio. Back in December I was honoured to talk about safe baby skincare on Natalie’s radio show, so do have a listen. I was in good company with guests including Baby Centre and Scentered. But, back to Sakrid. In a market that is so filled with “clean beauty”, what stands Sakrid apart from other clean beauty brands? Natalie’s brand came about during her mother’s fight against breast cancer, making finding…

Welcome back, my dear! I’m so excited to tell you about the family skincare for winter I picked up a few weeks ago. At 3 months postpartum, and with the delicate skin of 3 little ones to care for, I’m always on the lookout for clean and kind skincare that can be shared between us all. And especially so in the colder months, when it’s all the more important to care for our skin and protect it from the cold and the wind. And by the way, if you’re interested in learning about winter skincare for your family or how to protect your baby’s skin in winter, do take a look at my winter skin care guides. Today, I’m sharing my views on the comprehensive Lyonsleaf Mum & Baby Skincare Survival Kit, fragrant Skinlove Baby Gelified Rescue Oil, healing Silvan Skincare Mama’s Balm, beautiful Alteya Calming Aromatic Mist, and Good…

Hi there, dear friend! Back in December, I was delighted to be interviewed by the lovely Natalie Elliott for The Natural Beauty Show on UK Health Radio – talking safe baby skincare. During the show we talked about safe baby skincare, mothering during the pandemic, and what ingredients to avoid in baby skincare. I was so honoured to be included amongst the other guests, including Baby Centre and Scentered. A true pinch me moment! Natalie is the founder of Sakrid, a wonderful clean beauty brand you’ve maybe met already. Her love of clean formulas for all, her radio show discussing clean beauty issues, and her dedication to safer skincare, makes a real hero to me! Natalie and I plan to explore a mummy and baby product in collaboration, and I’ll keep you informed on this exciting development. It’s so refreshing to find female founders bringing on board real mums to…

Welcome back my friend! In today’s post, I’m sharing the delightful Nom Nom Baby Mini Set! This cute set was kindly gifted to me by Jayne Russell, massage and nutritional therapist, and founder of Nom Nom skincare. It contains everything you need to care for baby’s skin – from one month old. All presented in a gorgeous recycled gift bag. I set out to help new and expectant parents find the assurance they seek, through simple, natural and trustworthy skincare. There’s a multipurpose Baby Butter with Calendula and Evening Primrose, soothing Baby Oil with Starflower, and cleansing Baby Bath with Aloe Vera and Orange Blossom. I’ve had the pleasure of trying the products with my one month old, Lydia. The set is the perfect way to try the brand’s certified organic and unfragranced baby skincare range before committing to full size. It’d make a fabulous gift to a new or…

Welcome back, skincare friend! Today the focus is on a very lovely brand I’ve known about for a while but only recently had the pleasure of trying – it’s Poppy’s Natural Skincare! I was over the moon when Poppy introduced herself over on Instagram. We chatted about skincare and my skin, which was lovely. Poppy very kindly asked if I’d like to try her award winning natural skincare. Of course, I jumped at the chance. And when it came to Poppy’s attention that I have psoriasis on my scalp (currently under control), elbows (a little sore) and eczema on my hands (water filled blisters, itchiness, redness, soreness), she was eager to talk with me on the phone about my skin conditions. Of course it was lovely to chat with Poppy on the phone and our conversation went beyond skincare into family, work and more. It was interesting to learn how…

Welcome back, beauty lover! It’s no surprise that coronavirus and its economic impact has had a devastating effect on small businesses, so it’s never been more important to shop small natural beauty stores. Now more than ever is the time to get together by supporting small, family-run, and independent local stores! We can really make a difference to the families who own and run them. I’ve used a few small shops in my time as a blogger, so I thought it would be nice to share them with you here. With so much choice, it’s good to know the stores you can trust and who share the same ethics of natural, clean, sustainable, and ethical. I hope you’ll see that it’s easy to find thoughtful gifts with a conscience! These are stores that don’t only sell their own products, but products from several brands, offering a wider choice and some…

Do you battle to keep your kids clean? Although I love my kids to get mucky (not as much as they like to get mucky, I might add), whether it’s outdoors in the mud or being tactile with food (baby led weaning, anyone?) we do appreciate a good clean up afterwards. So I was pleased to hear from kids’ bath-time brand Scrubbingtons, who wondered if I’d like to try their Hand & Face Foam. This post is a paid partnership with Scrubbingtons. My views are honest and my own. Turn your bath dodgers and shower swervers into grime fighters with our foam-tastic washing products for real kids. Scrubbingtons products contain naturally-derived ingredients, are suitable for sensitive skin, vegan, and cruelty free. Mums Karen and Emma created the brand after spotting a huge gap in the market between baby skincare and adult skincare. Especially for kids who like to get mucky!…

Welcome back, beauty lovers! Today I’d like to introduce a very lovely sun protection brand and their gorgeous kids sunscreen. Hello, Suntribe Kids Mineral Sunscreen! This post is a paid partnership with Suntribe. My views are honest and my own. I can’t believe this clean sunscreen brand flew under my radar for so long before I met one of their lovely co-founders, Julia. Suntribe is all about sun care with no worries, which feels especially important when you have little ones. I spend way too much time worrying about my kids’ sunscreen, whether or not I’ve applied enough, in the right places, and whether or not I need to reapply it! Mums and dads, are you with me? So I really don’t want the additional worry of our sunscreen containing controversial ingredients or polluting the environment. Born from the love of nature, Suntribe was founded in Sweden by outdoor lovers,…

Hi beauty lovers! Have you heard of Plastic Free July? Plastic Free July is a movement to reduce the amount of plastic waste we produce. The challenge is to refuse single use plastics in July. As a family, we are mindful of the impact of our plastic waste and have been reducing single use plastics for some time. But there’s still huge room for improvement. The most offending single use plastics we still use as a family are without a doubt wet wipes and disposable nappies. I know how harmful they are for the environment, but sometimes getting through life with little kids seems more important. Can you relate? How does this help you? Maybe you’re in the same position as me. We can’t promise a plastic free July, but we can make a start implementing some changes for life. This is what it’s all about! …The truth is that…
