Hello again, my lovely! And welcome to my January and February 2022 natural beauty empties.
Advert: this post contains references to PR gifted products. My views are honest and my own. May contain affiliate links.
Since I hardly had any full size empties in January, I decided to merge January and February’s empties into one post to make it a little more interesting.
The end of February is always filled with optimism for brighter and warmer days to come.
It’s so good to see Spring appearing, including the arrival of beautiful snowdrops. And, although it is said not to bring the first snowdrops indoors as they can bring bad luck, I did it anyway.
Aren’t they dainty?
In these last two months of winter, I used up a brightening CBD, hemp, and coffee facial oil, glorious rose water, brightening facial mask, and more! I’m also sharing a lot of empties from the Biossance Advent Calendar my husband gifted me last Christmas.
Shall we take a look?

Ascend Caffeine + CBD Brightening Oil Serum
Cannabis and coffee are two of my favourite things, so I didn’t hold this one in my collection but instead used it religiously until it was all gone.
The decadent Ascend Caffeine + CBD Face Serum with papaya is the perfect brightening oil. It’s rich in protective antioxidants and contains a healthy 150mg of CBD to fight free radicals and protect against cellular damage.
I love its green, earthy aroma and silky feel. Wearing this oil, my skin is always happy and well protected. I’d love to explore more from Ascend, too!

Terre Verdi AcquaDiRosa Balancing Mist
Rose water doesn’t get much better than this. Terre Verdi AcquaDiRosa is such a high quality and long lasting rose water. The mist from the bottle is fine and precise, which is also important.
Terre Verdi is one of my favourite brands, everything is super effective and high quality. As a brand ambassador of Terre Verdi, I’m pleased to offer my followers 15% off using my code NatBeautyWBaby15.

Luneia Radiance Ritual Glow Mask
This potent mask contains both AHA and BHA exfoliants along with squalane and prickly pear seed oil.
Although it does cause a stinging sensation on first application, and I find it really hard to get off without getting it in my eyes, the glow it brings really is amazing – so it’s worth the effort.

This lactic acid night serum is becoming a firm PM routine favourite. I always wake up with smooth and glowing skin after using it.
I also smooth it over the dry skin on my knuckles and cuticles for softer hands come morning.

Biossance Advent Calendar Minis
My wonderful husband gifted me the Biossance Advent Calendar last Christmas. During January and February I finished off most of these delightful little minis. Here are some of my favourites, from top to bottom.
- Squalane + Antioxidant Cleansing Oil
- + Omega Repair Cream
- + Vitamin C Rose Oil
- + Marine Algae Eye Cream
- + Vitamin C Dark Spot Serum
- + Phyto-Retinol Serum
- + Peptide Eye Gel
- + Probiotic Gel Moisturiser
In truth, I’d buy them all in full size and I can’t wait to return to this brand once I’ve used more from my stash to make room for them.

Kear Mastic Herbal Soap
I tried Kear back in June 2020 and fell in love with the idea of Greek Skincare reborn.
This soap is such a treasure – gentle, holds its shape well, and smells amazing. I definitely recommend checking out the brand!

Ramer Baby Sponges
I’d never seen these before, so I picked them up in Boots. Although I believe they are synthetic, at the time they were invented they made a good alternative to animal based sea sponges. I guess they’re not so biodegradable, so I probably wouldn’t buy them again. The packaging is cute though.
This pack, especially for babies, cleverly comes with differently coloured top and tail sponges so you can top and tail perfectly. They dry hard, so they’re super hygienic. A bit like a konjac sponge!

Pure Ananda Balancing Conditioner Bar
We really enjoyed this solid conditioner. The combination of shea butter and patchouli leaves me with detangled and well cared for hair. I bought it for plastic free July and it’s lasted me and my daughter ages.
It took me a while to get used to the new format, but once I did it was plain sailing. Although towards the end it did get mushy in my solid bar box, it didn’t impact its use. I’m not sure if I would buy it again, however, as I prefer the EarthKind Conditioner Bar.

Herbivore Cloud Jelly
I’m certainly intrigued by this tiny bottle of hydrating serum that promises to hydrate more effectively than hyaluronic acid. It came in the Cult Beauty Best of 2021 Goody Bag.
I think I need a bigger bottle to test it fully. It’s such a pretty bottle and I’m a sucker for gorgeous and conscious Herbivore products.

Malin + Goetz Botanical Deodorant
When I first tried this I wasn’t at all impressed. However, I got used to the hard balm format and realised it was holding up okay to body odour.
I thought I would feature it in my empties as it redeemed itself and may be worth a try if you already like the brand.

Votary Super Seed Nutrient Cream sample
This I love, and I knew it just from one sample. The texture is so fabulous for daytime use and takes away any shine while keeping my normal to dry skin happy.
Definitely one to explore some more!
Votary Super Seed Nutrient Cream
Algenist Hand Cream sample
I wasn’t particularly impressed by this hand cream, but sometimes it’s hard to tell from only one sample.
It certainly contains some interesting ingredients and has good reviews so must be worth a look.

Hum Hair Gummies sample
I tried these in the Cult Beauty Best of 2021 Goody Bag. I noticed my nails grew a lot from the sample, but I can’t take them long term due to the ingredient PABA.
Definitely one to try if you’re not breastfeeding, though.

I love empties posts because it’s helpful to see which products people are actually using on a daily basis. I can’t wait to check these out!
There’s something about serums that feel so nourishing to my face. I would love to try the coffee/canabis one. Sounds the like perfect combo for a pick-me-up on my skin!
These colder months require products that can moisturize and it looks like you have some great ones on here like oils and creams.
I’m so attracted to anything organic and that face oil is interesting!
I love seeing your round ups of empties! I don’t use nearly enough products for empties lol
