Hello, my beautiful friend! And welcome to my May 2022 natural beauty empties.
Advert: this post contains references to PR gifted products. My views are honest and my own. May contain affiliate links.
I’m writing this a bit ahead of time as we’re moving in the last week of May. And I took my photographs hurriedly amongst all the clutter and chaos of our house move.
In May, I used up some very lovely products, and lots of them, including a soothing oat and charcoal cream, coconut deodorant, olive oil lipstick, and more.
I can’t wait to share them with you, so let’s dive right in!
May 2022 natural beauty empties
Zoe Bee Charcoal & Oat Cream
Zoe Bee Charcoal & Oat Cream helps Lydia’s skin so much! The poor thing has suffered with eczema since being tiny, but this waterless cream soothes and calms it with daily use.
A definite repurchase. And I can’t wait to try Zoe’s other creams.
Zoe Bee Charcoal & Oat Cream
Kopari Beauty Beach Deodorant
This deodorant blew me away and has been consistently effective. It’s also lasted me at least 4 months.
My clever hubbie bought it for me for Christmas last year. I’m definitely going to try more from Kopari!

Ere Perez Olive Oil Lipstick in High Tea
This Ere Perez Olive Oil Lipstick has been my favourite spring/summer lipstick for a couple of years.
I love the bright, well pigmented colour and the comfortable moisturising lip feel. It’s on the mushy side though, and gets a bit messy towards the end of its life.
Ere Perez Lipsticks
Typology Nourishing Body Scrub
This Typology Body Scrub is a real treasure. Super effective grains are suspended in a gorgeous thick jelly fragranced with lavandin essential oil.
The beauty of a scrub leaves me with super soft skin that’s well moisturised for the rest of the day.
Typology Nourishing Body Scrub
John Masters Organics Conditioner for Dry Hair
I have so much love for this conditioner and, in fact, all John Masters products I’ve tried.
The conditioner leaves my dry and colour treated hair soft and well cared for.

EarthWise Beauty Nap in the Meadow Serum
This serum was gifted to me by a dear friend. I had high hopes for it. Nap in the Meadow promises deep hydration, anti-inflammatory effects, anti-aging benefits, and refreshment. Its ingredients include turmeric, yarrow, and blue chamomile.
I wish I could tell you how much I love this serum, as I really love the brand’s story and use of natural ingredients – I find the website almost magical to peruse and read about the use of plants, minerals, essences, etc.
However, although refreshing and hydrating, I didn’t immediately fall in love with it to the degree I thought I would. But, the ingredients are amazing and I love how it’s been formulated. I’m so curious about EarthWise Beauty, and I have a few other products of theirs in my collection.
Anita Grant Monoi de Tahiti Oil
This Monoi de Tahiti oil is amazing. It is so very fragrant. I use it for all kinds of things – as a hair mask and de-frizzer, and just lately in my latest batch of deodorant clay.
Fun fact: it takes no less than 200 Tahitian gardenias macerated in pure Tahitian virgin coconut oil to make 1 litre of Monoi de Tahiti.
I highly recommend checking out Anita Grant’s website for all kinds of beauty ingredients.

Ahhh, Sakrid! I have so much love for this brand and this body wash.
The shower gel is clean, refreshing and leaves me feeling great.

Hair Gain Gummies
I featured Hair Gain Gummies a little while back since I noticed good results using them to treat my postpartum hair loss.
My hair has grown so much since finishing a 3 month course. Definitely check out my full review for all the details on treating any kind of hair loss with these gummies.

Terre Verdi GoodOils Cleansing Oil
If you’re looking for a traditional cleansing oil that’s both effective and gentle, then this is your oil! I love how it shifts even the boldest makeup while never stinging my eyes.
I reviewed it with Terre Verdi Orange Coffee Face Mask, so do head over for a read. You can take 15% off any Terre Verdi product using my code NatBeautyWBaby15.

VitalTouch Natalia Labour Massage Oil
Just before Lydia I arrived, I stocked up on Natalia pregnancy and labour products. They’re truly helpful at this special but challenging time.
The massage oil with clary sage and jasmine was a great companion while I was in labour. It’d make a great gift for a mum to be.

Organyc Sweet Caress Organic Cotton Baby Wipes
In my last post, I reviewed several cotton products for mama and baby from Organyc.
These baby wipes are so strong and caring, and were the first to go – we loved them!

Lyonsleaf Zinc & Calendula Cream
Lydia enjoyed this soothing multipurpose cream with zinc, mostly on her bottom but also on other areas affected by moisture, like her chubby leg folds.
The only downside to this cream is that it’s not as convenient as those in a tube, however, it’s easy to use and works so well to soothe and protect the skin. I featured it with other family skincare for winter.
Lyonsleaf Mum & Baby Skincare Survival Kit
Biossance Squalane + BHA Pore Minimising Toner
This gorgeous toner with nourishing squalane and exfoliating BHA came in the 2021 Biossance Advent Calendar.
It’s gentle enough for daily use, keeps my skin clear, and smells great too.
Biossance
VitalTouch Natalia Moisturising Hand Sanitiser
A lovely hand sanitiser from Natalia.
Hand sanitiser is a must have item, and I chose this fragrant and caring bottle to take into hospital when I was having Lydia.

Weleda Nursing Tea
During the first few days of breastfeeding, this is the tea I turn to for comfort and hydration.
The tea skillfully blends herbs traditionally known to support lactation.

Mummy Loves Organics Melting Body Candle
These melting body candles contain therapeutic levels of essential oil and are tailored to specific concerns such as hormone balancing and aiding sleep.
I kept mine next to the bath to help me unwind. I never got around to using it on my body, but I may well invest in another to try!

All By Myself Soaps are so beautiful and well formulated!
My whole family enjoyed this soap made with pink Himalayan salt.
All By Myself
JOIK Vanille et Noisette Candle
I love JOIK candles! They’re so well fragranced and comforting.
This one is as sweet as can be. I wish they were still available at LoveLula – I’d often pop one in my basket when buying skincare.
JOIK Vanille et Noisette Candle
Lyonsleaf Beauty Balm
I bought this for my hospital bag when going in with Lydia.
The balm itself is gorgeous and has multiple uses, which saved me a ton of space in my bag. The kit comes with a cloth so you can give oil cleansing a try.
Lyonsleaf Try Oil Cleansing Pack
Organyc Nursing Pads
I bought these ages ago, and these nursing pads from Organyc have since been discontinued.
I have to say, they were a little on the small side and would often drop out of place leaving me damp. I’ve since switched to washable nursing pads.
Organyc
Ayumi Turmeric & Bergamot Face Mask
A perfectly adequate face mask to dry up blemishes and keep skin soft.
I love the ingredients, including kaolin, papaya and bergamot.
Ayumi Turmeric & Bergamot Face Mask
Illiyoon Ultra Repair Lotion
This heavy duty Korean cream certainly hydrates and deeply moisturises.
Due to the size of the bottle and the fragrance, however, I was really pleased to finish it up and move on to something else.
Illiyoon Ultra Repair Lotion
Westlab Reviving Epsom Salts
These mineral treasures need no introduction.
A soak in epsom salts is always welcome!
Westlab Reviving Epsom Salts
Pixi Retinol Tonic
Although Pixi isn’t a “natural” brand, there are plenty of lovely natural ingredients to enjoy in this toner.
It’s a really gentle way to use retinol and I experienced no adverse effects with daily use.
Pixi Retinol Tonic
